A Balanced Approach to Wellness!

Spirit is going to share information about the brain.

Recently, my first grandchild was born. To honor this auspicious happening, we’ll start with brain activity right after birth. During the first week of life, a baby’s brain focuses on three activities:

  • recognition of light on his or her body (not only through the eyes);
  • awareness of soft sounds like whispers and humming; and
  • close smells, such as the smell of his mother and other people who come very close, the odor of the clothing and bedding that touch her nose, and pleasant odors that whiff by.

All other reactions and activities are governed by instinctive mechanisms in the baby’s body.
Note: this information is not scientifically provable.
