Conflicts between religions
Religions teach right from wrong from the perspective of power. Those with the power set the rules. Power can be wielded through violence, governmental position, cunning, or charisma. The more use of these power tools, the stronger the ability to create religious rules, even if the rules defy intelligent examination. Power, and its righteous cousin, devotion, enable believers to elevate their self-worth.
Conflicts between religions surface when there is envy or self-destructiveness or repulsion. Conflicts also arise within religions through misunderstandings, differing opinions, intrigues, and power plays. People with desire for power or influence can use religious devotion to convince others to abandon reason in pursuit of religious perfection. The resulting effect can be a strong desire to dominate or subjugate others, whether within one’s own religion or against neighbors.
Power that is wielded against the others can go unchecked when the power-hungry have convinced their supporters that they speak for the deity. HERE LIES THE CONCEIT! THOSE WHO USE GOD TO PERSECUTE OTHERS ARE IMPOSTERS! They have confused destruction with goodness, and their actions bring spiritual desolation.
Note: This information is spiritually derived. Religious fervor negates spiritual connection when it transgresses the wellness of others. Spiritual connection is for all and no one can claim it for one religion. The movement towards spiritual wholeness begins with tranquility.
