Prostitution facts
Recently, a friend told me about a male friend of his who travels to a country where the laws around prostitution are lax. This man goes there because he is unable to sustain a relationship with women and he wants a woman who will fulfill some of his sexual needs. This man has no problem engaging in sexual activities with the women in this other country because he believes prostitution is a way of life there.
This story prompted me to ask Spirit about prostitution. I received three answers. Here they are:
- No woman wants to prostitute her body. Nowhere in the world. Woman do it from economic, forced, or defeated positions.
- Prostitute patrons must make compromises with themselves in order to place themselves in a position to partake of a prostitute’s body. The patrons have choices and they choose the path of personal concern. Concern for the prostitute has no value (this last sentence applies to all prostitute patrons, even those who profess to care).
- The profession of prostitution has its roots in cultures that profess to protect women. These cultures were/are able to engage in forced sexual relations because they have more concern for the needs of the men.
Note: This information has been spiritually received. It applies to places with struggling economies through wealthy locations. The information does not address prostitution of boys and men because these situations are less universal, and relate to power struggles, homosexuality, societal mores, and sexual abuse.
