A Balanced Approach to Wellness!

Post 20

Excerpt from Book #3:

“First impressions are touted as being one’s only chance—no second chance. When it comes to people, some people actually judge and deliver judgment based on what the other person presents at the first meeting.

But people are more complex than a 7-second judgment can render. People have moods and illness and things on their minds. Impossible to truly judge another within a few moments of meeting. Yes, superficial judgment can be made, and sometimes that is enough. When one is in a precarious situation, snap judgments might be necessary, but in general day-to-day situations, snap judgments weaken the judger by 25%.  A quarter of the judging person’s reasoning is occupied by first impression activity. Impossible to truly judge another within a few moments of meeting. People require more information than a short, focused time period can provide.”

More to come!
