Another book published!

Cover for Pond a Connected ExistenceMy second book, Pond a Connected Existence, is published on amazon.com! In honor of wisdom presented in the book, here are a few quotes:

From the chapter “Behavior & Release”:

“…Sleep is an integral portion of the composition that is human life. Sleep and life intertwine. Life cannot be sustained without sleep. A healthy life requires healthy sleep. Too little sleep can cause accidents, illness, and shrinkage. Sleep that is sufficient leads to expansion, good health, less whining, productivity, and a more positive outlook. Some people view sleep as a nuisance; some people view it as a disturbance. Sleep can be a dreaded event when people see it as a time for tossing and turning or disturbing dreams or insomniatic existence…. Each person should understand his or her sleep requirements and be mindful to fulfill them.”

From the chapter “Determining Activity Value”:

“…People fill their limited time with unimportant and un-elevating wispy-fluff. They don’t realize the effects of empty and valueless time wasters. They think their choices have value, interesting dimensions, and resulting effects. Most often their choices have deficiency, narrow borders, and insignificant effects.

Wispy-fluff. Vanity of vanities. Empty undertakings.

Truly there are ways to live, ways to choose, ways to show love, ways to show affection, ways to transmit rules and requirements, and ways to interact with the environment. One simply has to decide to live in a sustaining and non-damaging manner. The choice is available to all.”

From the chapter  “Intrigue”:

“…People like and respond to distractions, rumors, and intrigue. They respond to knowing that others have it worse, that others need help, that others are suffering. They are comforted when others suffer as they do or at least have felt the suffering. But should others have it better or easier or with less struggle, the emotions change. Comfort turns to envy; wishes for well-being (for the other) turn into wishes for struggle. The more the inequality, the more discontent and jealousy and desire for others’ failure exist in the air. Permeating the atmosphere at social events, at work, at school. Seeping into conversations and into dreams. Disturbing sleep and disturbing digestion. Causing arguments or disgruntlement or dissatisfaction.….

… Refraining from participation in rumor-spreading and information-passing is sustaining. Not an easy thing to do; therefore, its value is high. To be balanced is to know how much to say, how much to keep back, and how much to say kindly”

Book #2—on its way!

Post 49-book 2

I have finished proofing the text of book #2, and I’m so excited that I’m writing a blog about this book. Its title is Pond a Connected Existence– Insights into Health and Life. Pond? As in ponder? No, as in “collect into a pond or large puddle”. This is the title I received. If anyone reading my blog has insight into this title, please share.

The topics discussed in this book include:

  • Is there such a thing as luck? Nope.
  • Is there such a thing as ADHD? Hmmm.
  • Are we obligated to pay our taxes? Yep, and to clean up trash in our community.
  • Can chaos in a marriage go away? Yes!

The book contains 13 wisdom essays that join The Gift of Intuitive, Dedicated Comfort in presenting wisdom from beyond us.

I’ll sign off with a quote from Pond a Connected Existence:

“Knowing what to do to keep healthy is basic required knowledge. Knowing what to eat or how much to drink to stay hydrated are the most obvious keys to good health. Understanding the need and frequency of sleep is required as well. Health is not the villain to be battled or feared; health is the means to meaningful living and ultimate satisfaction with one’s life. Health—physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual.”

Existence-Me Elevated Living book series—What kind of name is that!

Post 24 Existemce-Me

Here is the history of my writing.

After I realized my connection to Spiritual Presence, I wrote a set of handbooks for healing. I will write about them another time.

When the handbooks were completed, I had a break of about two weeks and then I began to feel that more writing was needed. The first topic I wrote was “Connection of the Four Components of Health”. I didn’t know what this information would be for, but I wrote down what I received. After that, information for the topic “Luck! What Luck?” came to me, then “How to Connect with Spiritual Presence”. By this third topic, I understood that I was writing a book. These topics were the beginning for The Gift of Intuitive, Dedicated Comfort.

As I neared the end of The Gift…, I started to receive information for another book. That’s when I began to understand I would be writing a series. It took me awhile to work out the name of the series, and when I did, it didn’t quite speak to me. But it is the title I received and so I used it.

As I completed the third book, I received the meaning of the book series name. So here it is:

Existence-Me: me, myself and all the grandeur that is available for me to embrace!

Elevated living: living with the knowledge that my actions can raise not only myself but also those around me and those to come!”

Views for contemplation #2

[In the Gift for Intuitive, Dedicated Comfort, readers are advised to “read slowly and thoroughly and to understand each fragment before moving on.” The topics presented are meant to be considered thoughtfully and personally so that each reader can value the messages in a unique and relevant manner.

To help with exploring the messages, I am presenting views for contemplation of the topics. I’ll continue with the “Introduction”, which is open to all on amazon.com.]

The Gift of Intuitive, Dedicated Comfort is presented to help the reader understand the expectations that come with the gift of life during this current time period. People who live during this time of plenty must appreciate what they have been given. They must accept the responsibilities that come with the comforts of modern life.”

Post 18-contemplation

  • In these sentences that open the paragraph, the purpose of this book is made clear. What do you think are the gifts you have that others living, say 150 years ago, didn’t have? My personal favorite is two-ply toilet paper.
  • Consider the “plenty” in your life. Think about other cultures in our modern world that don’t have plenty.
  • Consider how to appreciate what you have. Then, devise a way to show how you “accept the responsibilities that come with the comforts of modern life.”

In the Gift for Intuitive, Dedicated Comfort, readers are advised to “read slowly and thoroughly and to understand each fragment before moving on.” The topics presented are meant to be considered thoughtfully and personally so that each reader can value the messages in a unique and relevant manner.

To help with exploring the messages, I will present views for contemplation of the topics. I’ll start with the “Introduction”, which is open to all on amazon.com.

“The more easily a person accepts the surprises that come with time and condition changes, the more easily he or she can live among other people with harmony and unity. Without harmony and unity—external through societal interactions and internal through acceptance of one’s thoughts—people live difficult and struggling lives. With harmony and unity, a person can live an elevated and fulfilling existence and can experience spiritual awareness and sustenance.”

Post 18-contemplation

  • In this paragraph, several conditions are given that assist in living an elevated life. They are acceptance and awareness and spiritual living. Are these conditions apparent from the text?
  • What are “surprises that come with time and condition changes”? Think about your own life: surprises in terms of unexpected happy and sad events or things not turning out as expected. Think about events that affect whole communities or areas. Then consider the reactions of yourself and others.
  • Consider harmonious living. Think about times when relationships felt balanced and agreeable. Think about other times when relationships felt off-kilter and grating.
  • Consider how acceptance of your thoughts enables you to move on, create meaningful and fitting relationships, and assist others.

Perception can be…

“Perception is an interesting aspect of human existence. One’s perception of reality affects one’s health. A good example is through examining driving habits and attitudes. People who perceive all others on the road as out to get them tend to be more nervous, more aggressive, or more impulsive than those who perceive other drivers simply as other drivers. If one’s perception is that life will sort itself out, then usually it will. If one’s perception is that little in life is within one’s control, then that perception will prevail. Perception can be changed…”

This quote from the second book (not ready to reveal the name) is in an essay about the four components of health: physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual. Actually there is one more component (and I am learning about it as I write this post!): signal. I don’t yet know its purpose. Will excavate it for book #4!
