Would cancer disappear if we all took care of our bodies?

I posed this question to Spiritual Presence, and here is the answer I received.

Another question has to be answered first. This question is: What causes cancer? Here is the answer:

Cancer develops when the body confuses itself. Confusion can come from sudden causes like exposure to powerful carcinogens and from slow developing causes like tobacco and sodium nitrite. Once confusion begins, the body opens to changes in functionality, which opens the way for cancerous growths to form. Cancer takes hold when the body cannot stop its development.

There are chemical causes and nutritional causes. There are emotional causes and genetic triggers. There are also natural contributors and internal agitators.

That’s the general answer to the first question. Now for the second question: would cancer disappear if we all took care of our bodies?

Answer: The intensity and frequency of cancer would significantly reduce. Cancer would not disappear completely because of pollution, accidents (when accidents hurt the body, sometimes cancerous growths can occur), and social isolation.

Here are the things you can do to reduce your body’s confusion:

  1. Remove poisons from your life. They include (a) health treatments that list cancer as a side effect or possible side effect, (b) overconsumption of alcoholic beverages, (c) cigarettes and other tobacco products, (d) poisonous cleaning products (products that have poisonous warning labels on them), and (e) exposure to known cancer-causing sources (such as asbestos).
  2. Be aware of pollutants in your areas of home, work, school, and recreation. If you live in an area that is known to have carcinogenic aspects, and you cannot move, be sure to choose recreational activities in an area that is free of similar carcinogens.
  3. If you walk in areas with concentrated car or airplane fumes, do not linger in those areas. If you have daily exposure to these fumes, drink water before and after the exposure.
  4. The more deeply you breathe, the more your body can repair itself. Practice breathing techniques regularly. At night, breathe deeply when lying in bed before sleep to increase the rejuvenating work of sleep.
  5. Part of the body’s care of itself takes place when the body is moving. Exercise and movement are therapies for the body to prevent cancer. Attitude affects the body’s care of itself so if you dislike the exercise you have chosen to do, it will not have the same protective value as exercise you enjoy. Breathing deeply when exercising increases the protective value of the exercise. Walking is the basic exercise that provides protection.
  6. The ill effects of ingredients in processed foods are somewhat known. Don’t eat known or suspected carcinogenic ingredients. Shelf-life preservatives are not protective of the body. Eating fresh foods is best.
  7. Sitting in bed so that the stomach is a table for a book, food, or electronic device interferes with body circulation. Circulation of flows in the body is very important. Improve your posture when standing, sitting, and carrying heavy objects.
  8. Live life with more positivity. When you eat, remember to be thankful and remember to eat moderately. Focus on the parts of the body that don’t hurt rather than the parts that do (and take care of the parts that hurt rather than suffer unnecessarily). Nourish your intellect, and choose intellectual challenges that are interesting. Be kind to yourself.
  9. Protect against the sun’s rays and feel the sun on your body during the less hot times of the day. Working in buildings that have no sunlight streaming in confuses the body’s defenses. Exposure to sunlight is important.
  10. Anxiety experienced when deciding about minor issues (for example, parking the car) is immune system lowering. Releasing anxiety is healing.
  11. Doing work and engaging in life events that upset you are immune system lowering. If you can’t change the work or the life decisions, find positivity in them and release the frustration.
  12. The development of cancer can be slow. Changing one’s lifestyle when the cancer is non-apparent can decrease its growth, especially if the changes include positivity about life decisions and attitude.
  13. Clothing that is dry cleaned, disliked but worn anyway, or too constricting can contribute to immune system lowering. For people who care about the clothes they wear, the clothing should be uplifting.
  14. Spiritual connection can strengthen the body, if the connection is sincere. People who are disconnected from spirituality can be strengthened through connection to nature. The connection to “beyond oneself” is strengthening.

Scraps in the Body

scraps in the bodyShe constantly worries that more abnormalities will be detected. One test after another brings less serenity and more anxiety. The growth in her lung started the ball rolling, and it picks up speed with each test and each wait for results. The growth was not cancerous, but it was removed anyway. It had its purpose, but that purpose was never considered, and so, it was removed.

Our bodies work in ways we can’t understand. Sometimes the growths become infected and they harm the body (the cancerous growths). Sometimes they develop as responses to emotional turmoil. Even frustration can contribute to formation of a growth. The emotional growths can come and go, and the body usually dissolves them or builds “walls” around them to keep them from affecting body functioning.

The upkeep of the body is a complicated, encompassing process. Problems in one area affect the body in that spot and in others. A cut on the finger can instigate disruptions in other parts of the body. Irritation affecting the esophagus can trigger multiple reactions in organs and systems throughout the body. Small hurts can trigger major responses, and healing can become a full-body mission.

The body constantly moves the foreign and internally made waste through the body towards ejection. When the waste is ejected correctly, the body continues its marking and removal of unwanted matter. When the waste is blocked from removal, it is handled through secondary channels.

The placement of bits in various parts of the body is one of the mechanisms of storing unwanted matter temporarily. The lungs are a temporary storage facility for the bits. When the body is able to remove the unwanted matter, the storage areas are emptied of the bits and the waste is ejected correctly. The temporary storage disappears as if it was never there.

When proper movement of waste is continually blocked, temporary storage becomes larger and harder to empty. More and more storage areas are created and they become part of the ejection process. Bits are channeled to them before removal, and the storage areas slowly receive a formed shape.

The formed storage areas are not permanent, unless the body cannot process waste without them. The storage areas receive functionality just like other parts of the body. They provide service in the upkeep of the body. Although they are not identical in all bodies, they perform very similar services.

The purpose of the storage areas in the body is unclear, and the temporary storage areas are seen as problematic. Because they are suspicious, they are often removed. Their removal can trigger imbalance in the waste ejection system and can cause numerous reactions in other bodily processes.

The situation described at the beginning of this blog post is an example of misunderstood waste disposal. The body is brilliant in its design and resilience, which can be difficult to understand and interpret.

This blog post provides a partial explanation for development of unexplained activity in the body. The information has been given from Spirit.

Peanut Allergy—the Causes

What changed about peanuts that has caused the epidemic of peanut allergy? What about modern living has changed to lead to peanut sensitivity in such a large scale?

When I was growing up, peanut butter was eaten without limits. Nowadays, it’s not allowed at many schools and children’s activities. What happened?

I’ve asked Spirit, and the answer I get is that it’s complicated and I won’t be able to figure it out because I don’t have a science background. What I do get is a list of four culprits that work together to create the peanut crisis. If any of my readers have connections with scientists who could do the research, please pass this post on.

The answer is about modern living. Over time, changes have taken place to lead to the peanut crisis. Here are the culprits:

  • Alphaproteobacteria
  • Dextrose and phosphoric acid mixed (an ingredient in medicines for nausea, vomiting, motion sickness, and gastroenteritis)
  • Bismuth subsalicylate (an ingredient in medicines for diarrhea and other gastrointestinal issues)
  • Anxiety in pregnant women that is triggered by continuous worry about the fetus. Each time a woman is tested for the fetus (ultrasounds, blood tests, amniocentesis, etc.), anxiety can be present. The more tests, the more anxiety. Side effects of anxiety can alter the fetus’s ability to fend off bacteria. The tests provide useful information, but cause a rise in episodes of anxiety. In the past, women were given less tests which created less anxiety.

How these separate culprits interact to create the peanut crisis is complex. They cause the crisis to be widespread and difficult to challenge.

The peanut crisis is reversible, but it requires changes in behavior and health practices. Without making the changes, the peanut crisis can increase and mutate.

Abdominal Pain

girl-stomach-pain-clipart-cliparthut-free-clipart-KuL2pW-clipart

Abdominal pain says “Pay attention!”, but many of us ignore or mask the pain until the body stops communication or revolts. I worked with a woman who was having terrible stomach pain. Systematically removing foods to determine the foods that trigger the pains did not work, because sometimes a food triggered pain and sometimes it didn’t. Medications did not help, nor did invasive procedures.

Through Energy Guidance, I learned that she had been ignoring her body’s calls to stop whatever she was doing–or whatever else seemed more important–and go to the bathroom. She had been ignoring her body’s signals for forty years and her body finally rebelled.

The cure?
  1. To listen to her body! The moment it said “Stop what you’re doing and go to the bathroom.”, she did.
  2. To move in relaxing rhythm so that her body would relax and speak to her again. She began dancing every morning in a therapeutic and relaxing way.
  3. To criticize herself less. She had not realized that her thoughts were contributing to her physical problem. She deliberately forced herself to be kinder to herself, and her abdomen relaxed.
Abdominal pain develops from so many sources:
  • It can come from delaying elimination (like the woman I worked with).
  • It can come from overeating or eating foods that tax the body.
  • It can come from internal distress, such as self-criticism or self-doubt (like the woman I worked with).
  • It can come from reactions to medications or toxic substances.
  • It can come from motion that is overly non-human: airplanes, boats, amusement rides, elevators, etc.
  • It can come from withholding nourishment.
  • It can come from the digestive process that is disturbed when certain foods or beverages are consumed (like the woman I worked with).
  • It can come from external sources, such as germs: viruses, fungi, bacteria, and protozoa.
  • It can come from external sources, such as societal expectations.
  • It can come from external sources, such as criticism and pressure from others.

Abdominal pain whispers at first, because the body assumes the problem will be handled immediately. When the cause of the pain is minor, the whispers will escalate gradually and either retreat or escalate if ignored. When the cause of the pain is toxic, the body will shout for attention.

External criticism and pressure can cause chronic abdominal pain and other physical problems. The words of family members and caregivers are so powerful that meanness and impatience sometimes induce physical reactions in response. External criticism can lead to internal criticism can lead to worsening of abdominal pain.

Escalation of abdominal pain requires understanding and acceptance. The cause(s) must be determined and the required changes must be made. Abdominal pain should not be ignored or masked.

The tendency is to assuage pain at the moment it appears, without concern for the cause. This tendency treats the symptoms and can be effective when the cause is minor. When the cause is beyond minor, treating the symptoms can deepen the pain or disrupt communications with the body. The more that symptoms are treated without addressing the causes, the more harm is caused to the body.

Forty years of ignoring and masking symptoms led to misery for the woman who worked with me. When she understood the causes and accepted her ability to undo her past mistakes, she was able to communicate with her body and be its ally. Each time she let her body guide her, she reduced the suffering of her abdomen and it healed.

Opening to the complexity of the body is the first step towards healing abdominal pain. Once it is healed, prevention is the next step.

Viewing the World through Alzheimer’s-Tinged Glasses

Alzheimers

As described in the blog post “Alzheimer’s prevention–what you can do for yourself”, a person who is affected by Alzheimer’s disease becomes a shadow of him or herself. A shadow is a person who looks like someone who once existed, but exists in physical form only.

The process of descending into a shadow happens over time. Throughout this process, the person sees life confusedly.

This blog post presents the view from Alzheimer’s at near take-over point. The disease has not yet transformed the person into a full shadow.

The thoughts of a woman in Alzheimer’s clutches

1

One large

It’s a wall?

It’s a waterfall?

Oh-it’s a curtain.

Opening to the sky.

I see the sky.

The curtain is blue, yes blue. I see blue.

It’s a blue something—–blue tall.

The woman opened the blue she opened the blue…….

She talks to me she says she is Mollie, she is new here. The woman says she is NO she is not my daughter! My daughter has black hair.

Orange juice. The woman gives me orange juice. Her face is new. Taste of juice is like coffee. I want coffee!

COFFEE!!!!!! Not juice.

Here is my dress. It is green , or red. With flowers and buildings on it. The woman says to put it on. Her hands help me put on my dress. I like my dress with its yellow somethings.

The sky is trees and the trees are rocks like ……

The woman Mollie says something. Taste of juice.

Something on the floor. Two somethings. Girl says put on my feet. Feet? Girl moves somethings on my spatulas.

OWWW! Hurts my spatchufas! She takes them off.

Lay down.

The woman lives in a home for dementia patients. Her daughter, Mollie, has come by on her daily visit. In the past, Mollie and her mother were very close, but her mother no longer recognizes her. Mollie thinks she sees moments of recognition, but she is wrong. The recognition left a few months earlier.

Thwarting Alzheimer’s disease

Alzheimer’s disease can be thwarted. Thwarting takes the belief that the body can heal minor inconveniences like indigestion and sniffles without outside chemical remedies that seem to hasten wellness, but actually weaken natural healing abilities. Thwarting takes building communal ties and a dependable social framework. Thwarting takes creative thinking throughout one’s life.

Alzheimer’s disease brings an unwanted and miserable ending. Thwarting Alzheimer’s disease is worth the effort.

How to Defy Alzheimer’s

Alzheimers

Alzheimer’s disease is a relatively new form of dementia. It developed as people revised their lifestyles.

In the previous blog post, Alzheimer’s prevention–what you can do for yourself, guidelines were presented for strengthening against Alzheimer’s. The guidelines were listed, but not in order of value.

In today’s blog post, I am presenting the information from the previous post with the guidelines in the order in which they are most helpful.

—–

From the previous post:

Alzheimer’s disease is confusing. Life becomes unenjoyable and challenging. Memories hide and knowledge distances. Likes and dislikes are buried so that decisions are difficult to make. Aromas that once delighted now waft by unacknowledged. Flavorful foods once desired now become bland.

Alzheimer’s disease alienates family members and creates shadows. A shadow is a person who looks like someone who once existed, but exists in physical form only.

Alzheimer’s disease is terrible. It is frightening. It is defeating.

Alzheimer’s disease can be thwarted by eating nutritiously and appropriately for your body, avoiding unnecessary aids to the modern lifestyle, and connecting with others. Here are guidelines to strengthen yourself against Alzheimer’s disease’s confusion.

1. Build social connections.

The importance of social connections cannot be overemphasized. Interacting with other people is our natural state and is part of our health.

Strengthen family ties, join community organizations, invest in friendships. The social connections are like a cocoon that envelops us in resistance to external stressors and internal wounding.

2. Avoid stomach medicines.

For many people, stomach discomfort is avoided through the use of digestive impediments. Over-the-counter and prescription medicines are used for lessening or increasing digestive functioning. Not all medicines weaken the natural digestive processing, but some do, and their interference can lead to changes in sense functioning (taste, smell, etc.) that can then impact brain functioning.

By listening to your body and knowing the foods that make it feel nourished and well, you can avoid stomach discomfort.

3. Avoid ear medicines.

The body can heal most internal upsets. The body’s healing requires patience and awareness. Many people want immediate healing and doubt the body’s abilities to heal itself. Some ear medicines weaken ability to communicate with the body and contribute to weakening of communication in the brain.

Allowing your body to heal itself is the best path. Proper sleep, adequate water consumption, and healing foods usually restore health.

4. Use your brain creatively.

The importance of using the brain throughout one’s life is known. Creative thinking is even more powerful than doing brain exercises. Creative thinking such as writing poetry, choreographing a dance, and designing a garden strengthen the mind and focus its functioning. Creative thinking doesn’t need to be done every day for it to strengthen the mind, but the more creative the endeavors, the more resilient the mind.

These guidelines are general, but they provide important information if you are open to see it.

Alzheimer’s: what the caregivers can do

alzheimers support

Caregivers want to know what to do for a family member or friend who experiences life through Alzheimer’s-tinted glasses. Here are tips for caregivers.

Early stages of Alzheimer’s

  1. Routines are very important now. A daily life that is routine will help keep confusion at bay. Aim to maintain routines and accept their importance.
  2. Physical touch is very important now. You, the caregiver, need the touch as much as the person does.
  3. Physical exercise is needed. Whatever physical activity the person did before Alzheimer’s should be maintained, except for exercise that is extreme or disorienting. If the person was not physically active, but watched a lot of TV, find TV exercise programs and encourage him or her to follow along.
  4. Plan for the future. A person who becomes confused several times a day will most likely become confused more often as time goes by. Consider how you will handle the change, and don’t wait until you are overwhelmed to make your decisions. Be realistic about your abilities to care for the person.

 Alzheimer’s take-over

At this stage, the person has lost connection to time and self.

  1. The caregiver’s perception about the person is influenced by their history. At this point, history is only in the mind of the caregiver, not the person. Releasing history, positive or negative, can help with caregiving tasks.
  2. Fill the person’s living area with color: colorful pictures, colorful fabrics, and colorful furniture. The colors bring pleasure to the Alzheimer’s-tinged mind.
  3. Fill the person’s day with music: radio, recordings, live–no matter. The music invites memories.
  4. Face the person. Peripheral vision is jarring for a person who sees through Alzheimer’s-tinged vision. Touch that is too unexpected is jarring for a person who senses contact through Alzheimer’s-tinged sense of touch. When touching him or her, stand in front and move slowly.

Note: The suggestions about music, exercise, and planning for the future are frequently advised. This blog post is spiritually advised. It does not apply to other types of dementia.

Addiction Attraction

Help

Addiction.
A word that means relinquishment.

Addiction is relinquishment of self-listening.
Internal communications are constantly happening.
Their purpose is to keep the body balanced.

Burying the dialogue below
booze
or drugs
or sex
or tobacco
or shopping
or food
or thrills

turns down the volume, but increases the crying out.

The addictive stranglehold of the sound mufflers
tunes out the internal communications, but increases interruptions.

Unable to hear the true voice of the body, the addicted person listens to the interrupting messages and follows their guidance.

Addiction offers a guided path to away from oneself.
Addiction is SCREAMING.

A World without Cravings

sweet too much

Before sugar was refined, cravings existed but they did not rule existence. Yes, there were other addictions but they had different influence because of the body’s processing.

Refined sugar overrides the body’s ability to digest properly. Digestion when sugar is present becomes crippled. The sugar speeds some processes and halts others. The body absorbs the nutrients it can while defending itself from the onslaught of altered secretions and excretions that are different from their natural states because of the sugar.

Artificial sweeteners alter the digestive processes’ ability to absorb nutrients naturally. Besides speeding some processes and halting others, they create changes in digestive processes for foods that are proper for the body. Artificial sweeteners cause less cravings but more havoc.

To satisfy cravings for sweets

There are ways to satisfy cravings, because cravings for sweetness are part of modern-day life. Here are five ways to satisfy sweet cravings:

  1. Keep hunger at bay when you are around sweets. The less hungry you are, the less tempted you will be.
  2. Reduce hidden-sugar foods (processed foods that contain sugar or other sweeteners) so that your body feels sweetness with less. In other words, the less sweet foods you eat, the more easily you will notice sweetness.
  3. Minimize the sweet things in your home and choose to buy sweeteners from the Best list to keep at home.
  4. You can counter sweet cravings by eating foods with “good” fats. Choose whole fat foods rather than low-fat or no-fat. Whole fat foods satisfy hunger and lower cravings.
  5. Avoid advertisements for sweet treats, and when shopping, remember that the store owners are trying to manipulate you by placing sweet things along your buying path. Say “no” to this manipulation.

Is a world without cravings possible? Yes—in places where the sweet desire is satisfied by fruits and unprocessed sweeteners. Elsewhere, probably not. People who can abstain from all processed sweeteners and lactose-modified foods are least affected by cravings.

A worthwhile goal can bring benefits beyond belief—living without cravings!

“Little” things that contribute to cancer

C

Our bodies fight off invaders all the time. Our immune systems are designed to protect us. Cancer agents enter our systems in many ways, and our immune systems must fight them off and protect us from other invaders as well. ‘Round-the-clock protection, and often we do little to thank our amazing immune systems.

Besides the immune system, there are checks and balances that work to keep us well. These checks and balances require care to perform their exacting work. They work best when the body is cared for. They struggle when the body is unwell or too accosted by invading trespassers (bacteria, viruses, etc.) and weights (like cancer agents).

Cancer can start in many places and from many causes. As explained in the blog post “??Fuck Cancer!!”:

“Cancer evades understanding because it is so evasive. It quietly enters—sometimes. It takes over enthusiastically—often. It passes through the genes—but not always. It appears to have no symptoms or it creates many symptoms. It surprises us when the young are afflicted. It is tangible and can be removed, but it can get so small that we can’t see it move on. It grows in places that defy explanation.”

We live our lives as if we won’t experience cancer’s erosion, eating as we choose, stressing our bodies, and purposely exposing our bodies to the cancer providers. When cancer strikes, we are unprepared.

“Cancer is so widespread that we should be indifferent when we hear about another case of it, and yet we react with shock and dismay when another person faces its frightening diagnosis.”

This blog post presents a list of “little” things that contribute to cancer.  Each, on its own, may not present a problem, but when combined with others and placed into a body that has an overworked immune system and an unbalanced checks-and-balances system, real health havoc can occur.

The list is in no particular order. It does not include larger cancer contributors like cigarette smoke, asbestos, and known environmental cancer agents. It is not all inclusive. The list is meant to remind us how little things can add up to big complications.

  1. Certain artificial food colorings
  2. Aspartame and other artificial sweeteners
  3. Sugar
  4. Suppressed feelings of hurt
  5. Certain hair dyes
  6. Additives that preserve color
  7. Constant fear
  8. Glue ingredients
  9. Chemicals used in preserving: sodium and potassium nitrates and nitrites
  10. Processed talc
  11. Toxic ingredients in oral hygiene products
  12. Unresolved rejection

??Fuck Cancer!!

C

A reaction to death-by-cancer is f cancer and f-you cancer and fuk cancer and #FuckCancer. And yet, cancer continues to confound the experts and the afflicted. And the families of the afflicted (me included). And cancer theories. And past cancer patterns.

Cancer evades understanding because it is so evasive. It quietly enters—sometimes. It takes over enthusiastically—often. It passes through the genes—but not always. It appears to have no symptoms or it creates many symptoms. It surprises us when the young are afflicted. It is tangible and can be removed, but it can get so small that we can’t see it move on. It grows in places that defy explanation. It causes expectations of its appearance—sooner or later.

Cancer is so widespread that we should be indifferent when we hear about another case of it, and yet we react with shock and dismay when another person faces its frightening diagnosis.

If you really want to “fuck cancer” you have to prevent it. Once it strikes, cancer is confusing to fight. Do you rely on the latest invasive methods to remove it? Do you seek out obscure remedies? Do you embrace the things you always wanted to do? Do you give up?

The Fuck Cancer ToDo List

Here are tangible steps you can take to keep cancer at bay in your body. These steps apply to people who are not afflicted by other life-threatening illnesses or who have not undergone invasive surgical procedures (not for cancer). They also don’t apply to people currently experiencing cancer’s difficult presence.

The list might seem long and difficult to follow, but it leads to an uplifting and strengthening lifestyle. Keeping cancer from growing is a worthwhile goal that requires thought and action. Cancer that is transmitted genetically might be harder to prevent, but it is preventable.

My mother died from metastasized cancer. I know what it is to watch a loved one become overcome by the ravages of cancer. Preventing cancer is worth the efforts.

The Fuck Cancer ToDo List for the Caregivers of Young People

Cancer in children is difficult to accept. They haven’t had a lifetime of “bad behavior” to warrant the cancer, and yet the cancer is there nonetheless. The causes of cancer in children are different from the causes in adults, although there is overlap because of environmental causes.

Here are tangible steps you can take to prevent cancer in children. They won’t prevent cancers that are internally generated because of DNA or structural problems.

  1. Remove poisons from the child’s life. They include (a) health treatments that list cancer as a side effect or possible side effect (vaccinations are not being discussed here), (b) tobacco smoke, (c) poisonous cleaning products (products that have poisonous warning labels on them), and (d) exposure to known cancer-causing sources (such as asbestos).
  2. Be aware of pollutants in the areas of home and where the child spends time. If you live in an area that is known to have carcinogenic aspects, and you cannot move, be sure to choose recreational activities in an area that is free of similar carcinogens.
  3. If you walk the child in areas with concentrated car or airplane fumes, do not linger in those areas. If the child has daily exposure to these fumes, provide water before and after the exposure.
  4. Be careful not to “over” the child: over-handle, overwhelm, over-clean, and overmedicate. Too much “overs” can harm the child’s body if the body has internal challenges.
  5. Emotional stresses such as loudness and worry can contribute to weakness caused by other stressors.
  6. Emotional cruelty can be felt by a young child. Whether the emotional cruelty is directed at the child or someone else in the home, it can be immune system lowering.
  7. The body is bombarded by weakening forces all the time (germs and bacteria among others). A young child who is fed foods that weaken or is overstimulated or overtired out can be weakened so that cancer-causing forces enter and proliferate. Feed the child foods that help him or her grow. Keep the child’s environment pleasant. When the child is tired, sleep is the only next step.

When caring for children, keeping their best interests in mind is key to keeping them healthy.

!!Fuck Cancer ??

Cancer can be overcome, but how much better it is to never become afflicted! Following the advice in this blog post cannot guarantee that cancer won’t grow, but it does contribute to a healthier lifestyle, which can contribute to the body’s ability to combat cancer.

Postpartum Depression

mother and baby

I was fortunate to deliver three healthy babies. After the second delivery, my baby was fed formula in the hospital (unbeknownst to me) and he wouldn’t nurse properly. On the second day in the hospital, I became angry and sad, and when I found out about the formula feedings, I hit the ceiling and created quite a scene at the hospital. They stopped feeding him the formula and I began breastfeeding him exclusively. I was still angry and sad, and blew up at the head doctor on the third day. Within two weeks of going home, I returned to a more stable state.

I mention this episode in my life, because it bordered on postpartum depression. I had hints of this depressive state, and I can vouch that it is best avoided.

Here is what Spiritual Presence has to say about postpartum depression:

  • Not breastfeeding the baby can contribute to postpartum depression.
  • Not holding the baby during the first 24 hours of life can contribute to postpartum depression.
  • Not speaking to the baby at regular intervals during the first 36 hours of life can contribute to postpartum depression.
  • Not hearing the baby regularly during the first 40 hours of life can contribute to postpartum depression (does not apply to deaf mothers).

After the first few days of life, additional factors can contribute to postpartum depression:

  • Insufficient sleep
  • Insufficient water intake
  • Insufficient time with the baby

If all of the above factors do not take place, postpartum depression can set in because of these factors:

  • Consumption of too much sugar
  • Too much activity that overwroughts the mother

After two weeks, postpartum depression can still set in because of this factor:

  • Cruel words by a loved one to the new mother

A new mother, whether the baby is her first or her fifth, is mending physically, emotionally, and realistically (adjusting to her new reality). Ensuring that the things listed above don’t happen is the best defense against postpartum depression.

Becoming Sensitive to Assimilating the Galactose

dairy products

Lactose intolerance is ostracizing in a society where dairy is venerated. Dairy is a major meal source in some countries, and the inability to eat dairy products causes inconvenience and misery. Dairy products can be ingredients in seemingly non-dairy products so that inconvenience and misery increase because of confusion about other foods.

Let’s look at how lactose intolerance applies to a baby:

A developing fetus grows through the stages of not-able-to-receive towards able to receive. The earlier in the development, the less a fetus can process. Each stage brings ability to recognize and direct flow. Movement of liquids and movement of impulses encourage the growth, and development occurs in patterns of connection. Seemingly disconnected parts and systems are actually connected because of the patterns of development.

A baby receives the nutritional requirements that were created for him or her. A baby with lactose intolerance either has missing galactose processing or incomplete development of the digestive system. A baby who has missing galactose processing will display rejection of dairy products immediately after ingesting them. A focused caregiver will notice this rejection. A baby who has incomplete development of the digestive system will have symptoms less clear, but there will be symptoms because of the connected patterns of development. A focused caregiver will notice distress, but not necessarily understand the cause.

A clear rejection of dairy, when heeded, will prompt the cautious caregiver to remove dairy products from the baby’s diet. If dairy is not avoided, the baby will suffer cramping and loneliness. An unclear rejection of dairy when undiagnosed will develop more intense symptoms if dairy is not excluded from the diet. If diary is excluded from the diet, the incomplete development of the digestive system will continue its maturation, and the inability to assimilate galactose often ends.

Sensitivity to assimilation of galactose can begin in utero or when the digestive system does not mature. This sensitivity cannot be prevented when it is caused by in utero developmental activity. It can be prevented in an immature digestive system if the baby is free of dairy until the digestive system is mature.

Seemingly healthful nutrition provided by dairy products becomes destructive for those with sensitivity to galactose. Awareness by caregivers when dairy is introduced into the baby’s diet is very important. A mother who feeds her children the foods eaten in her society can be feeding without awareness of the needs of her children. Dairy products are eaten and so the children are fed them. As with other foods that are carefully introduced, dairy products should be too.

Many societies thrive on nondairy foods, so inability to eat dairy products does not a disaster make. A disaster is feeding a child food that makes him or her unwell.

Introducing dairy products with care is a way to check for lactose intolerance. The slightest discomfort should indicate an issue that needs notice, and the dairy should be stopped until the discomfort is understood or passes. Careful observation is needed at this stage.

Lactose intolerant pregnant women do not need to worry about consumption or non-consumption of dairy during pregnancy because it has no effect on the baby. A pregnant woman influences her baby’s development in many ways, but her consumption of dairy is not one of the ways (unless the dairy makes her ill because she is lactose intolerant, and then she is unable to nourish herself properly.)

The Fetus Smokes Tobacco

baby with cigaretteAn unborn child whose mother smokes tobacco while she is pregnant is a first-hand, once-removed smoker. The unborn child receives the smoke into his or her body, and the smoke strains the life of the child. The damage to the fetus is well-documented scientifically. This blog post is added to explain who is being strained.

The fetus is a feisty being, developing and layering into the child he or she will become. This to-become being absorbs physical, emotional, and nurturing inputs from the mother. The absorption stresses in the presence of tobacco smoke. Obviously, smoke is not entering the fetus, but the smoke triggers changes in the inputs that mimic a smoking being. Tiny smoking fetus is subjected to all the carbon monoxide and nicotine and pesticides and nickel and other damaging ingredients that the mother is subjected to, but the fetus cannot refuse the smoke. The basketful of harmful substances are given to the unborn child, and the unborn child receives them protestingly by changing his or her development.

The changes in development remain with the person throughout his or her life. They cannot be undone.

Tobacco smoke is encompassing: it encompasses the lung capacity and it encompasses the excuse-making capacity.

After writing about celiac, its causes and its prevention, I became curious about other afflictions that we receive before birth and afterwards. In the next few blog posts, I’ll be receiving information about the effects of tobacco and alcohol on the fetus, lactose intolerance, postpartum depression, and breastfeeding.

I have already received information about autism and psoriasis.

Through Energy Guidance Complete, we can understand some of the mysteries that affect our lives.

If there are other health topics that you want me to ask about, let me know.

Celiac Prevention

Note: The source of the information provided here is divine inspiration. It has not been scientifically verified.

In my previous post, “Celiac—Disease or Clue?”  https://energy-guidance-complete.com/2015/12/10/celiac-disease-or-clue/ , the resistance to gluten proteins is presented as a balanced state:

“Celiac is the balanced state for some people. Why? Some people’s systems are formed with resistance to substances because of their mother’s contributions and because of their own physical makeup.

A pregnant woman who has opposition in her body to the fetus opens the fetus to resistance to substances. This opposition is complex and does not mean that she is opposed to being pregnant. It means that she has physical and intangible disharmony with the fetus. The physical disharmony can come from the physical impact of the pregnancy on her body or from external substances. The intangible disharmony can come from hormonal upheaval (also causes physical impact) and from turmoil caused by internal struggles (emotional, intellectual, and about the child).”

Once resistance to gluten proteins becomes part of a person’s physical definition, the only way to protect the body is to avoid eating foods containing gluten.

Prevention requires modifications in the foods and approaches to the pregnant state by the pregnant woman. There are three preventative steps that lessen the likelihood of gluten resistance:

  1. Reduce the consumption of foods containing gluten, especially foods that puff up: bread, rolls, bagels, pita, crackers, pretzels and other wheat-based snacks, cake, cookies, doughnuts, scones, muffins, pancakes, and pizza. The reasoning:

“The increase in gluten sensitivity has occurred because of physical disharmony from external substances. Food enhancers that are added to wheat products, when eaten by pregnant women, “nourish” the fetus in adverse ways. The food enhancers create sensitivities to gluten when other protections are not in place. Disharmony in the mother (physical and intangible) is fragmented in its effects on the fetus, and if food enhancers are eaten at a time when disharmony occurs, gluten sensitivity will be instilled.”

Because the timing of the gluten-resistance creation is different for each woman, avoiding these food products as much as possible is the best advice, especially in the second and third trimesters.

Foods containing gluten that can be consumed in somewhat larger amounts during pregnancy are foods that don’t puff up: pasta, tortillas, cereal, pie crust, and oat products.

  1. Protecting against internal struggles can be done by encouraging intellectual development on topics other than the pregnancy and childcare. (This suggestion does not imply that the topics of pregnancy and childcare should not be studied; rather, that intellectual development during pregnancy should be varied.)
  2. Feel the internal changes during pregnancy and be amazed at the wondrousness of the body.

Making these suggested changes does not guarantee that the infant will not have celiac, but they can significantly reduce the possibility, especially the first suggestion.

Celiac—Disease or Clue?

Sensitivity to gluten meaning? Disease treatable?

Words have been left out of these two sentences to mimic the creation of the celiac disease. A disease is an adversely affecting, function-threatening stopping of systems in the body. As long as the systems haven’t stopped, germs or weaknesses that take hold in the body can disturb, but they are not diseases. The word disease is used to describe body disturbers, from gingivitis to cancer. They should be called body imbalancers instead. When balance is restored, the imbalancers halt their hurtful movement.

Is celiac an imbalancer? It does disturb various systems in the body, but its hurtful movement is halted by nonconsumption of gluten proteins, which means that it is always present. It is hibernating, but not halted. Celiac is not an imbalancer, because it is part of the balanced state for some people.

Celiac is the balanced state for some people. Why? Because some people’s systems are formed with resistance to substances because of their mother’s contributions and because of their own physical makeup.

The intangible disharmony can come from hormonal upheaval (also causes physical impact) and from turmoil caused by internal struggles (emotional, intellectual, and about the child).

The sensitivity to gluten proteins has been a possibility in communities in which gluten is consumed for its filling quality. In these communities, pregnant women react differently to the proteins in gluten than when they are not pregnant. These reactions, together with the other physical changes and other causes of disharmony, influence the fetus’s sensitivity to gluten.

The increase in gluten sensitivity has occurred because of physical disharmony from external substances. Food enhancers that are added to wheat products, when eaten by pregnant women, “nourish” the fetus in adverse ways. The food enhancers create sensitivities to gluten when other protections are not in place. Disharmony in the mother (physical and intangible) is fragmented in its effects on the fetus, and if food enhancers are eaten at a time when disharmony occurs, gluten sensitivity will be instilled.

Sensitivity to gluten existed before the proliferation of celiac. What has changed is the presence of food enhancers in wheat products. Addressing the contributor that can be changed is the main step in lessening celiac responses.

Excavating the Pain

Pain-no

Our bodies are constant communicators.

______________

Here’s the message: pain has reasons. Pay attention and care for your body before it rebels.

______________

Here’s the explanation:

Aches, pains, urges, dizziness, and intuition are some of the communication devices. Feelings of satisfaction and comfortable exertion announce states of comfort. Fatigue, turning inwards, and explosions of boiling announce states of upset. Nausea and weakness transmit helplessness. Feelings of myself (no special physical sensations) and unawareness (of other physical sensations) convey self-realization (here, self-realization means being or doing in an absorbed or forced fashion).

pain

Subtle, intimate messages convey alerts for physical, emotional, and unsettled states of the body. The urges to perform daily physical actions start with subtle messages. Slight rumbling in the abdomen calls for attention to needs for nutrition. Urges to urinate and defecate are less subtle after sleep, but are more subtle when attention is focused on other activities. Mild pain in the back or legs conveys the need to move around. Yawning can signal tiredness or disinterest.

Louder messages are conveyed through less subtle means. Gnawing feelings in the abdomen shout for food intake. Leaking or spasming shout for attention to relief from waste materials in the body. Inability to move parts of the body shout for care of the affected body parts and the need to move more. Inability to focus shouts the need to change activities or to sleep.

Ignoring subtle messages can lead to the inability to care for one’s body. The body will actually give up the subtle messaging system and will work in distress mode until relief comes or relief doesn’t come and breakdown begins to occur.

Treating needs of the body with the wrong remedies contribute to the inability of the subtle messaging system to work. Examples: Drinking coffee late at night instead of sleeping upsets the body’s rhythms. Late night shift work after a day of not sleeping shuts down some functioning.

When pain is felt, a pain reliever is not the answer unless the pain reliever involves release of pain through natural or gradual means. Pain relievers that alter the communication between the body and the person are last resort options. The pain means that the body itself fights with itself—self-conflict with no winners. Relieving pain requires listening to the body’s subtle and not-so-subtle messages and relieving the body of its conflicts.

Message: the body is designed to function with proper care. Care for your body, listen to its messages, and go!

Awe-tism to Caregivers

autism

Note: The source of the information provided here is divine inspiration. The information has not been scientifically verified.

Autism is discussed in two earlier posts: “Awe-tism” https://energy-guidance-complete.com/2014/08/31/awe-tism/ and “Awe-tism Reality” https://energy-guidance-complete.com/2015/09/12/awe-tism-reality/.

Today’s post looks at the view of autism from the position of the caregivers. In the post “Awe-tism”, the following statement is made about the caregivers:

“Those who live with people that present autistic characteristics are determined, overwhelmed, searching, and/or sad.”

Determination is necessary for handling the daily uncertainty that comes with autism. Feeling overwhelmed occurs when autism presents its difficult reactions. Searching, searching for answers, searching for help, they are always searching for ways to make life better for the one afflicted with autism. Sadness is an undercurrent for oneself, one’s family, and the one afflicted with autism.

People who live with autism in their family treat their autistic one according to their own sense of how the person should be treated and according to advice from those who have studied autism.  The trouble with following the advice from those who have studied autism is that

“Those who study the phenomenon of autism are confused and unsure.”

Many theories abound about how to handle autism, but correct they often are not. The caregivers end up being worn down and discouraged. Not all, but many.

Caregivers learn to appreciate small gestures and moments of connection. Caregivers must treat themselves kindly and live for themselves as well. Caregivers must remember to see their autistic care as a person with differences rather than as a person with difficulties.
