Holistic Caregivers: Choosing Your Team

Post 13-screen beans supporting

Holistic caregivers abound. So many to choose from, so how do you choose? There are homeopaths, reflexologists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, nutritionists, and art therapists. There is Chinese medicine and Ayurvedic medicine and faith healing and energy healing. Music therapy can help as can aromatherapy. What about shiatsu and Energy Guidance and myofascial release? And so many more!

There is no single healing solution that works for everyone. Often a combination of healing methods works best. No matter the healing method(s) you choose, you want to find holistic caregivers that help you heal and be healthy.

Here are criteria for choosing your team of holistic caregivers:

  • The caregiver looks you in the eye.
(A caregiver who cannot look directly at you is not sure.)
  • The healing method seems natural to the caregiver.
(A caregiver who believes in the healing capacity of the chosen method will exude trust in the method. The caregiver is using the healing method because of a firm conviction in its healing possibilities.)
  • The caregiver has a firm grasp of the healing method.
(Some holistic healing methods require years of study. Some require years of experience. Some require surety.)
  • The caregiver is adept at creating a healing experience.
  • The caregiver gets results.

Here are signs that the person calling himself or herself a holistic caregiver is not meant to be doing this work:

  • The person’s approach is negative.
(It the person approaches your concerns in a negative way, that person might have too much negativity in his or her own life to be doing healing work at this time.)
  • The person tells you that you will not know the results of your treatment for a long period of time.
(Holistic healing can take time to occur. The nature of holistic healing is steady and unrushed. However, if the person says you will not know whether the treatment succeeded for a year, find another caregiver.)
  • The person tells you that only he or she can heal you.
(A caregiver wants healing to occur and knows there are many paths to healing. A caregiver who advises against going to other caregivers might be doing so for financial reasons.)

Here are signs that a holistic caregiver is not meant to be working with you (even though the caregiver might be helpful to others):

  • You feel a lack of confidence in the caregiver.
  • You feel that the caregiver is not listening to you.
  • You feel that the caregiver is not sincere.

I have worked with many people and know that my healing methods are not appropriate for everyone. If a person comes to me whom I can tell will not benefit from Energy Guidance Complete, I am honest and let him or her know. Sometimes it takes more than one session for me to know. I have referred people to other healing methods to do in conjunction with Energy Guidance Complete or in place of. Each person has different needs and can benefit from different approaches.

When you find a healing caregiver who helps you understand your body and yourself better, nurture this connection.
A healing caregiver is wonderful to have on your team!

Pain Emotional

Post 126-body massage

Knee pain. I’ve had knee pain off and on through the years. I ruled out physical causes several years ago when physical therapies didn’t relieve the pain. At one point, I examined a conflict with a loved one and when we worked it out, the pain went away.

Lately, the pain came back. Actually it comes and goes. Once again, physical therapies don’t relieve the pain.

I finally turned to Spirit to determine the cause. (Why did I wait so long?) And I learned that once again, emotional turmoil has come into play. The emotion–disappointment–has entangled itself around my kneecap. A person close to me disappointed me, and the disappointment hurts me physically and emotionally. Turns out that the pain in my knee reflects several disappointments from my adult life.

To relieve the pain, I must care for the disappointment with kindness. To do that, I will not try to relive the disappointments that happened; rather, I will create a way for the disappointments to dissolve. (I’m not explaining the Energy Guidance Complete way this will happen, because it differs from person to person.) When the disappointment has dissolved, the pain will end.

My experience reflects the experiences of many people. Emotional turmoil sometimes lodges in the body and manifests as physical pain. This type of pain is hard to treat, because emotional wounds defy physical treatments.

Back pain, knee pain, stomachaches, skin eruptions, and abdominal ailments are types of physical problems that often have emotional causes. When these problems occur, the best healing approaches are holistic therapies. When physical and emotional healing of physical problems occur, the healing is more often successful.

The body heals when causes are understood and acknowledged. As with me and my knee, emotions are responsible for the body’s responses. Pain and joy affect the way we feel, and the way we feel creates the pain or joy.

The more we focus on emotions that are positive, the better we feel. The more we allow negative emotions to fester, the more chance of physical pain. Even when difficult things happen in life, positive rather than negative helps prevent lasting harm.

The power of emotional healing is incredible. The first step is to understand its existence!

The Healing Attitude

girl-stomach-pain-clipart-cliparthut-free-clipart-KuL2pW-clipart

Healing is tricky. It is not available to those who use illness to attain a goal. Many use illness to keep from participating in life. Look at the people you know who are ill and consider the last sentence. It does not apply to all, but to many.

When we are ill, we should take the necessary precautions and mending steps. Mending steps include sleep, hydration, nutrient intake, and positive focus. Staying away from others when contagious. Staying away from temptations. Staying away from activity. Staying away from over-excitement, over-exertion and over-indulgence (not meaning overindulgence of food, rather overindulgence of self-pity or self-over-focus [I’m-too-unwell-to-deal-with-life-and-think-of-others]).

Healing can be quick or languishing depending on our age, attitude, previous physical condition, and determination, and of course, on the healing issue. Feeling determined to be well is very important. Any trace of benefit from the illness or condition can slow the healing process. Even a well meant show of sympathy can slow the healing. Best to heal with as little sympathy as possible. Attitude influences on all levels-physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual. A happy attitude greatly enhances healing.

Healing and wellness are possible when we truly want them!

How does the body heal when the appendix is removed?

Cover-Signals that Inspire

The appendix is one of the organs that oversees complex healing mechanisms in the body. When it is inactivated because of removal, other organs and healing entities compensate, depending on the person’s overall health.

Removal of the appendix is a regular procedure that is performed to prevent rupture of the appendix. Preventative medicine can generally prevent the need for its removal. From the book Signals that Inspire and Intertwine: …once the appendix has become inflamed or abscessed, removal is a solution.”

The appendix controls upper level healing mechanisms. Without the appendix, the body works less smoothly when these extra healing forces are needed.

The appendix is the organ that bridges between the spiritual and physical worlds. That connection is affected when the appendix is removed, but  the connection is continued as though a phantom appendix exists. When life is coming to an end, the appendix governs end-of-life preparations, and so other entities in the body must compensate when the appendix is not there.

Signals that Inspire and Intertwine presents spiritually received information that explains the roles of the appendix and “signals” in the body. This book is an introduction to the complex system that protects and heals our bodies. Besides the appendix, the pineal gland, spleen, and liver assist with extra healing mechanisms that kick in when the body’s regular defenses cannot handle the onslaught of too much distress.

Signals that Inspire and Intertwine

Cover-Signals that Inspire

Healing can be simple like the natural release of a hangnail or elaborate like the closing down of body processes to conserve energy when food consumption is too low.

Signals that Inspire and Intertwine is an introduction to the complex system that protects and heals our bodies. This complex system is a fifth component of health that works seamlessly with the other components of health—the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual components. Extra support is needed when our bodies are unable to heal through the basic healing processes. The extra support is provided by signals that are governed by the appendix and pineal gland. These signals activate when backup is required to maintain balance or to overcome external and internal causes of stress or injury.

Awareness of signal existence opens the door to investigation of the healing power of the appendix and pineal gland. Awareness of signal existence contributes to individual determination to strengthen the body’s healing process. Awareness of signal existence can influence care of infants and patients.

Signals will continue to assist with maintaining balance whether or not we are aware of them. Knowing that these balance protectors exist is the first step towards appreciation and understanding. Signals that Inspire and Intertwine presents introductory information that is usable by healthcare professionals and people who are interested in health.

Healing and trusting

painMy ear hurt. It was sore to touch and it felt tender when I touched behind it on my neck. It started hurting after a plane ride, so I thought it was a result of the altitude change or air pressure on the plane.

When the pain continued longer than two weeks, I guessed that the cause was something else. That’s when I turned to Spiritual Presence and asked if I should leave it alone or intervene in its healing. The answer I received was to leave it alone and let my body heal it.

I abided by that answer although I re-asked the question numerous times over the next few weeks. Eventually I got used to the discomfort and felt confident that my body would heal. Two months later, my ear is fine.

The body can usually care for the small aches and pains and invasions by germs. The body is designed to do so, but it requires proper nutrition, restful sleep, and emotional care. When we intervene too early, we weaken the body’s natural ability to heal. When the body is mistrusted to heal itself, it loses its ability to communicate. Sudden pains become frightening and we rush to relieve them without simply breathing deeply and letting the body do its work.

I was raised to seek outside help the moment my body became ill. Learning to value its healing abilities has made me healthier and stronger.

How They Happen—Afflictions That Plague Us

After writing about celiac, its causes and its prevention, I became curious about other afflictions that we receive before birth and afterwards. In the next few blog posts, I’ll be receiving information about the effects of tobacco and alcohol on the fetus, lactose intolerance, postpartum depression, and breastfeeding.

I have already received information about autism and psoriasis.

Through Energy Guidance Complete, we can understand some of the mysteries that affect our lives.

If there are other health topics that you want me to ask about, let me know.

Excavating the Pain

Pain-no

Our bodies are constant communicators.

______________

Here’s the message: pain has reasons. Pay attention and care for your body before it rebels.

______________

Here’s the explanation:

Aches, pains, urges, dizziness, and intuition are some of the communication devices. Feelings of satisfaction and comfortable exertion announce states of comfort. Fatigue, turning inwards, and explosions of boiling announce states of upset. Nausea and weakness transmit helplessness. Feelings of myself (no special physical sensations) and unawareness (of other physical sensations) convey self-realization (here, self-realization means being or doing in an absorbed or forced fashion).

pain

Subtle, intimate messages convey alerts for physical, emotional, and unsettled states of the body. The urges to perform daily physical actions start with subtle messages. Slight rumbling in the abdomen calls for attention to needs for nutrition. Urges to urinate and defecate are less subtle after sleep, but are more subtle when attention is focused on other activities. Mild pain in the back or legs conveys the need to move around. Yawning can signal tiredness or disinterest.

Louder messages are conveyed through less subtle means. Gnawing feelings in the abdomen shout for food intake. Leaking or spasming shout for attention to relief from waste materials in the body. Inability to move parts of the body shout for care of the affected body parts and the need to move more. Inability to focus shouts the need to change activities or to sleep.

Ignoring subtle messages can lead to the inability to care for one’s body. The body will actually give up the subtle messaging system and will work in distress mode until relief comes or relief doesn’t come and breakdown begins to occur.

Treating needs of the body with the wrong remedies contribute to the inability of the subtle messaging system to work. Examples: Drinking coffee late at night instead of sleeping upsets the body’s rhythms. Late night shift work after a day of not sleeping shuts down some functioning.

When pain is felt, a pain reliever is not the answer unless the pain reliever involves release of pain through natural or gradual means. Pain relievers that alter the communication between the body and the person are last resort options. The pain means that the body itself fights with itself—self-conflict with no winners. Relieving pain requires listening to the body’s subtle and not-so-subtle messages and relieving the body of its conflicts.

Message: the body is designed to function with proper care. Care for your body, listen to its messages, and go!

The Spiritual Connection Meridian > Support

Spiritual Connection Meridian

The Spiritual Connection meridian connects people to spirituality. The connection is subtle, but is needed. Connection brings comfort at emotional and physical levels, clarity about choices, awareness of others, and acceptance of change. Connection is desirable.

The two previous posts explained the need for this new meridian: https://energy-guidance-complete.com/2015/11/26/the-spiritual-connection-meridian/ and https://energy-guidance-complete.com/2015/11/29/the-spiritual-connection-meridian-connection/

(All meridians have mapped pathways of energy. They are associated with organs in the body and with supporting functionality. For example, there are meridians associated with the heart, lungs, stomach, and circulation [among others].)Spiritual Connection Meridian movement

The Spiritual Connection meridian is associated with the appendix. The appendix is called into play when the body needs healing. The appendix is an accessory organ that has resisted explanation. Connection to the spiritual realm is one aspect of appendix functionality. The appendix initiates healing responses when the body’s normal healing functionality is overwhelmed, and these responses can include spiritual self-questioning.

A body that has been dispossessed of its appendix has lessened its ability to heal naturally, but does not lessen its ability to spiritually self-question.

The Spiritual Connection meridian sustains when other meridians are overtaxed. The Spiritual Connection meridian uplifts when self-dislike sets in. The Spiritual Connection meridian releases when confusion overwhelms.

Working with meridians requires training and experience. Working with the Spiritual Connection meridian requires permission. A healer who wants to acquire the knowledge to use the Spiritual Connection meridian must undergo a permission spiritual test. A healer can use the meridian as a healing technique after self-healing has accomplished forgiveness. The Spiritual Connection meridian is effective as a healing technique in the hands of a healer who has forgiven.

The Spiritual Connection Meridian > Connection

Spiritual Connection Meridian

The previous post explained the need for this new meridian: https://energy-guidance-complete.com/2015/11/26/the-spiritual-connection-meridian/

In this post, we’ll look at the meridian’s relationship to energy and religion.

The Spiritual Connection meridian has spiritual energy. Unlike other meridians, it is neither yin nor yang and neither male nor female. The energy of this meridian spirals outwardly from the back fontanel of the intangible opening to spiritual energy. (To rephrase, the skull has a sutured area that is open at birth and closes a short time later. The opening and closing of this area, which is called the back or posterior fontanel, is a physical part of the body. It is also the intangible opening to spiritual energy: communication from the soul to Spiritual Presence occurs here.)

Spiritual Connection Meridian movement

The Spiritual Connection meridian has significance for world religions:

  • In Judaism and Islam, it is connected to God.
  • In Christianity, it is connected to the Holy Trinity.
  • In Hinduism, it is connected to the elements air and aether.
  • In Buddhism, it is connected to the element air.
  • In other religions, the connection is to high sacred sources.

The Spiritual Connection meridian is not connected to the five Chinese elements (fire, earth, metal, wood, or water), but is connected to qi (air and breath).

As I mentioned in the previous post, the Spiritual Connection meridian is only known to me at this point. The time has come to share it, and I am writing about it in hopes that some of you blog readers know healers who would be interested in expanding their healing abilities. The Spiritual Connection meridian is too important to be kept quiet. I must share it.

Thank you.

The Spiritual Connection Meridian

Spiritual Connection Meridian

Connecting to spiritual wisdom was once a natural part of living. When people were attuned to nature and to cycles, they were aware of spiritual involvement in their lives. Scientific discoveries, technological advances, and urbanization distance people from spiritual interest.

The sophistication of society through discoveries and advancements changes living conditions, but not human nature. People need spiritual connection to live fully. A balanced life requires emotional and physical well-being, intellectual stimulation, and spiritual pondering.

Healing through balancing of intangible meridians is the basis of ancient techniques for well-being. The meridians correspond to organs and systems in the body. The meridians balance the corresponding organs and systems when the meridians are utilized. Healing comes from physical and intangible manipulation of the body, and meridians provide direct intangible access to health.

A new meridian has become necessary because of the distancing from spiritual existence. Its necessity is a result of the reliance on science, technology, and rejection of spiritual partnership. This meridian, the Spiritual Connection meridian, is now revealed as a healing balance in a world that has distanced from spiritual energy.

I learned about this meridian from Spiritual Presence when I began my journey into Energy Guidance Complete. I recorded its path and its attributes, and began using it to help people with physical and emotional ailments.

The Spiritual Connection meridian is only known to me at this point. The time has come to share it, and I am writing about it in hopes that some of you blog readers know healers who would be interested in expanding their healing abilities. The Spiritual Connection meridian is too important to be kept quiet. I must share it.

Suffering unexplainedly

pain

Pains in the back or the teeth or the head or the abdomen or the back fontanel or the legs. And in other places as well. Pain that is suffered day in and day out or intermittently without reason for years or months or always. Pain that is debilitating or sort of debilitating or debilitating but withstandable. Pain that is examined and named and dulled and excised—with a scapel or a drill or a laser. Pain that is medicated away or pressed away or slept away.

Pain that always comes back.

Pain can be unbearable, bearable, or determinedly-bearable.

Pain that a person is determined to bear gives strength when the pain is caused by irreparable damage. Overcoming the pain of an amputation or a paralyzed limb is not an easy task and it requires determination and ability to disregard the reality of the pain.

Pain that is unbearable requires attention, not determination to bear it, if the pain is overwhelming yet solvable. The solutions may not be straightforward, but there are solutions.

Pain that is bearable also requires attention. Chronic pain requires solutions that also may not be straightforward. The causes of chronic pain often require attention to physical, emotional, and even spiritual issues. Chronic pain is explored in this blog post: Life with pain.

The causes of pain are mutifaceted. Usually they can be overcome by awareness of emotions and behaviors. Yes, it might be easier to swallow a pill to make the symptoms abate temporarily, but relieving pain through solutions that have effects on the pain and on the underlying causes brings well-being.

Shout out the wonder!

shout

“Spiritual Presence opens my mouth
to share the wisdom
to speak when I feel unable
and to shout out the wonder.”

-from the poem “Unfolding Information” in Unfolding

Shouting out the wonder is not easy when you have been raised to stay quiet, be polite, and keep your opinions to yourself. Learning to speak out when speaking out is required is not an easy thing to do. There are many stories about reluctant leaders who feel ill-equipped to take on the roles they have been tasked to do. Some step up and become great; some refuse and suffer for their silence.

Three years ago, I received the gift of communication with Spiritual Presence. The gift evolved from personal assistance for just me to assistance for everyone through me. I have learned to share the wisdom through writing this blog and the Energy Guidance Complete books. I have looked my disbelieving, skeptical friends and family in the face and said that I have complete faith in the existence of Spiritual Presence. I now run a “Getting to Know Your Soul” workshop and teach the wisdom about the soul. I have moved from mumbling about the work I do to forthrightly stating that I am a spiritual healer and channeler.

The hard part for me is the shouting, the shouting out the wonder, the wonder of being able to know so much truth and wisdom and to share it so that people will listen, really listen. The shouting is hard. My connection with Spiritual Presence is natural and understated so that the wisdom comes through me naturally and quietly. But people need the roar and the thunder! People need to realize the amazingness of this connection! So I’m working on the shout.

Connection of the Four Components of Health

health

“The four components of bodily health are:

  • Physical health
  • Emotional health
  • Intellectual health
  • Spiritual health

Each component is dependent on the other three components to be balanced…The interconnectedness prevents excessive damage to the body through over-exertion or over-excessiveness.

The interconnectedness enables the body to ascend heights—physically (for example, competitors in athletic competitions, workers laboring under tight deadlines, tenders of animals in the wild), emotionally (for example, caregivers of terminally ill people, people who have overcome abuse), intellectually (for example, developers of thought) and spiritually (for example, in meditative focus). The interconnection enables the body to survive depths (for example, captivity, harsh treatment by cruel people, severe weather conditions, internal turmoil caused by internal strife). The components are interconnected by design and intent…

…Fulfilling the requirement of each component to be nourished, secure, and enriched can be achieved when a life is balanced. Balanced in terms of nutritional intake, emotional sustenance, and cerebral stimulation. Spiritual illumination occurs even when the other components are not balanced if the individual or group of individuals is either innately spiritual or is open to spiritual sustenance. The other components require balance at the individual level; spiritual balance can occur at the individual and societal levels. Balance leads to health leads to balance leads to health and so on, circling….

…The four components control responses to illness, serious illness, and suspected illness. Suspected illness is more serious than one would expect because the thoughts ignite protective responses in the physical, emotional, and spiritual components. Serious illness causes protective responses by all four components. These responses inhibit the effects of the illness when the components are functioning properly. When less serious illness strikes, protective responses are initiated at a reduced level…The protective responses match the need when the components of health are balanced. When the components are not balanced, the protective responses are elicited; however, the effect might be lower and might not enable the body to heal itself properly. In general, in modern society most people’s bodies are not balanced and therefore, the reliance on modern medicine is required…

…Changing reality affects the components of health. War, displacement, societal upheaval, familial upheaval, accidents that result in maiming or impaired mental functioning, and natural disasters—these events drastically affect health.  Some people survive these events with perception and sense of self intact; most people do not. The normal responses to difficult events are grief, blame, withdrawal, or incapacitation. To survive unscathed is unusual; to be weak, unpredictable, suspicious, fearful, hurt, sad, cautious, blameful, indecisive, or angry is expected. Minor changes to reality can be unsettling and can cause many of the same reactions. Few people are unaffected by the ebbs of life. One can survive the ebbs more successfully through spiritual and elevated pursuits…

…Knowing what to do to keep healthy is basic required knowledge. Knowing what to eat or how much to drink to stay hydrated are the most obvious keys to good health. Understanding the need and frequency of sleep is required as well. Health is not the villain to be battled or feared; health is the means to meaningful living and ultimate satisfaction with one’s life. Health—physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual.”

Spiritual illness strikes!

spiritual illness

This past week, I suffered from a bout of spiritual illness. My body gave way, and I gave in. For days I rested and let my body restore itself to health. During that time I pondered the causes, the cures, and the symptoms. During that time, Spiritual Presence quieted, leaving me to wonder what the purpose was for my suffering.

I was ill, but not very ill. I had a fever, but no other symptoms. I lost my appetite, but gained enhanced senses of taste and smell. I asked Spiritual Presence questions throughout, slowly coming to an understanding as I experienced my body’s struggle.

Spiritual illness is illness that blows in when spiritual questioning causes imbalance that the body cannot fathom. Spiritual illness affects people who face questioning or attack at the spiritual level. The questioning can be internal or from other people. Even a person who is strong in his or her beliefs can suffer spiritual illness when outside influences overtax the framework of belief.

Recognizing spiritual illness is difficult because other symptoms can cloud its existence. Treating the body for non-spiritual causes will not balance the spiritual imbalance. The balancing work requires efforts that go beyond normal healing.

Having awareness of the cause is the first step. Subsequent steps could include ruling out—and treating—physical or emotional causes. Examining one’s spiritual beliefs can be another step.

Awareness of the importance of spiritual balance is needed for full body-soul balance.

Body talk and the meaning, part 2

PeopleA pain in one part of the body is often related to that part of the body, but not always.  The body is a complete entity, and what happens in one part can have an effect on many other parts. Illness and afflictions have causes, causes that are often not easy to understand.

An example is fibromyalgia. Fibromyalgia syndrome is not understood because it acts differently in each body. There are many hypotheses as to the cause and some of the hypotheses are accurate for some people. But not for all, which make it a confusion. Each person with fibromyalgic symptoms has reasons for the symptoms, the reasons are body talk unheeded.  Each person with fibromyalgia syndrome suffers from body talk unheeded that multiplied because of ignored messages. When the body is trying to communicate and the person doesn’t listen the body will shut down, overreact, or take over. Fibromyalgia syndrome is an example of the body doing all three.

Whether the cause of illness or afflicitons is a physical cause or an emotional cause, the body will speak to you.  If you listen and work out the cause, your body will reward you with well-being and reliability. If you ignore the whispers and the shouts, your body may lose its ability to communicate which can lead to many ill effects.

The next time your body calls, aim to listen carefully. You will be grateful in the future.

More about body talk: Body talk and the meaning

Body talk and the meaning

painA rumble in the tummy? Body talk for hunger, fright, or contentment.

Pain in the lower abdomen? Body talk for “you ate something that wasn’t good for you”,  “you did a movement that you weren’t ready for”, or “you contracted a stomach bug—get to the toilet!” (among other possibilities).

Lightness in the head? Body talk for lack of sleep, lack of water, lack of nourishing food.

Pain the toes? Body talk for “your shoes don’t fit”, “there’s a splinter” or “you have an inflammation in your nose (or mouth or somewhere other than your toes)”.

A pain in one part of the body is often related to that part of the body, but not always.  If the pain in the toes is caused by an inflammation somewhere else in the body, no amount of focus on the toes is going to help until the inflammation is handled. The body is a complete entity, and what happens in one part can have an effect on many other parts.

Whether the cause of pain or irritation is a physical cause or an emotional cause, the body will speak to you.  If you listen and work out the cause, your body will reward you with well-being and reliability. If you ignore the whispers and the shouts, your body may lose its ability to communicate which can lead to many ill effects.

The next time your body calls, aim to listen carefully. You will be grateful in the future.

The magic pill

Post 106 personal resistance

I have been guiding people towards balance through Energy Guidance Complete. This work involves people making changes in their habits and in their choices. This approach requires a positive spirit and willingness to change.

When people apply the wisdom of Energy Guidance Complete, their symptoms abate and their goals become reachable.

Here’s the amazing aspect of my work–and by amazing I mean that I am shaking my head with disbelief–when presented with healing that requires a willing spirit and desire for health, too many choose to remain afflicted and floundering. Too many want me to say a magic sentence and all will be right for them. Too many want me to tell them a secret cure to fix all ails. Too many want to be well without changing a thing. Too many want to be svelte without putting down the fork and stuffing their mouths with worthless and damaging edible things that masquerade as food. Too many prefer to give their kids a pill rather than make them eat breakfast every morning. Too many want ease.

Promises of an easy life come from marketing blurbs and diet supplements. Real life requires investment in proper nutrition, adequate sleep, and daily exercise. And community service and time for friends.

The magic pill is loving oneself and living a life that exudes this love. This magic pill comes with the following instructions:

  1. Keep a positive attitude and complain less.
  2. Breathe more deeply and stand straighter.
  3. Acknowledge ability to be well and pursue wellness.

Energy Guidance Complete is spiritually guided healing that requires each person to invest in themselves. With spiritual guidance amazing changes can happen, but taking part by the individual causes the amazing changes to become reality.

Causes of expiring too soon

Expiration date

Recently, a person died who I didn’t personally know, but many people I know knew him. He was only 48-years-old and he died of a heart attack. This event has prompted me to revisit the post “The forty contributors to ill health and to possible…” https://energy-guidance-complete.com/2014/06/05/the-forty-contributors-to-ill-health-and-to-possible/

Sleep deprivation is number 2 on the list. Number 2! Sleeping too little is fatal! Sleeping too little clouds judgment, exaggerates emotional reactions, and causes accidents. Sleeping too little deprives the body of the time it needs to rejuvenate and repair. Sleeping too little, when combined with other factors, negates healthy aspects of living (proper diet and exercise). Sleep deprivation needn’t be, because each person can know his or her sleep needs by paying attention to the body.

Insufficient regular movement of the body is number 5 on the list. Number 5! A bit of exercise here and there is not enough. Our bodies were designed to move—often.

Chronic insufficient consumption of water is number 8 on the list. Lack of regular hydration taxes the body and increases illness possibility.

Suppression of negative emotions (worry, fear, and anguish) is number 12 on the list. Having any of these negative emotions is number 11 on the list, but suppressing these emotions is almost as bad. Feeling negative emotions is normal, but when they are constant companions they tax the body and increase illness possibility.

Feelings of devaluing others: number 39 on the list. Thirty-nine might not seem high, but when combined with other factors, can lead to an expiration date that is too soon. Negative feelings about others boomerang and cause lowered resistance to illness and disease.

Too soon is preventable, but it is more than eating certain foods and not eating “bad” foods. To understand the way to live a long and healthy life, look at the list of 40 and live oppositely to all 40. It is never too soon to change direction!

Uneven breathing—the balancing breath

Breathe

–    Inhale, exhale. Inhale, exhale.
The rhythm of breathing.

Rhythmic breathing is natural. Inhalations and exhalations of equal length are usual when the body is at rest. When the body is in motion, the rhythm changes, but the lengths of the inhalations and exhalations remain relatively equal.

Rhythmic breathing of unequal lengths can be used for developing greater breathing capacity and healing. In general, when the exhalations are longer than the inhalations, healing is encouraged, if this rhythmic breathing is for an extended period of time. For example, inhalations to a count of six and exhalations to a count of eight, when rhythmically done for at least 15 minutes, start various balancing mechanisms.

Each person has a capacity for uneven rhythmic breathing depending on physical condition, age, breathing habits, and current sleep situation (slept enough or sleep deprived).

Daily uneven rhythmic breathing can be a tool for balance and well-being.
