My path to Energy Guidance Complete starts

In the previous blog post “My path to Energy Guidance Complete”, I shared the section of the path at which I began to write the spiritual wisdom I was receiving. Today, I’m going to share the moments of fusion! The moments when acceptance occurred! The moments when Spiritual Presence called and I followed!

As I wrote in the previous post, there were hints of the connection earlier. Years before the connection occurred, there was a moment of realization that I was being called, but I was afraid and I rejected the connection. It was too big for me at the time.

By the time the second call came, I was less afraid and more open to the wisdom. The second call was less direct than the first. It came in stages and advanced with my initiative. It came after I was comfortable working with Libra Method, the treatment for balancing the vertebrae to relieve pain in the spine and muscles. It came after I was comfortable using techniques that tap into healing unconventional. It came after I was aware of healing that defies logic. And it came when I was unafraid.

The summer of 2012! The momentous summer when my fusion with Spiritual Presence began! As described in the book  Exploring Energy Guidance Complete, My Journey:

“In the summer of 2012, I attended the annual Libra Method seminar for Libra practitioners. The subject of using Applied Kinesiology on oneself was discussed, and when I left the seminar, I decided to try it on myself as a tool to lose weight. I happily discovered that self-testing worked for me and I quickly embraced the ability of knowing which foods to eat, portion sizes, and appropriate exercise.” (Self-testing is explained on the “About”  page.)

Not long after, my ailing father became worse and I was told that I should hurry to the U.S. to be with him. As I sat on the airplane, I felt the need for support so I used self-testing to ask for it. I received connection with my beloved deceased mother. This connection enabled me to relate to my father in a beyond-myself way and it enabled me to be supportive of my siblings and stepmother. When I returned to Israel, I was able to mourn in a way that uplifted myself, enriched my immediate family, and enlightened my community. I also connected to my deceased father as I was connected to my mother.

After experiencing self-testing for weight loss and spiritual support, I was emboldened to explore my capabilities. I asked the question “What else can I know?” and the universe opened and flooded me with information. The beginnings of information inundation were thrilling, awe-inspiring, and unfocused. I asked about unsolved crimes and current events. I grasped the cause of an inhospitable force in a public building in my community and eased it out. I learned about cures and solutions, sadness and unhappiness, illnesses and afflictions, personality traits and natural preferences. I invaded people’s private spaces and learned that doing so is forbidden without permission. I soared in the sky, while pretending to be a normal, feet-on-the-ground person. I expanded my Libra practice to include advice about precise exercises and healing. I continued to lose weight in a healthful way and heal myself… I talked about these new developments with a few close friends and family. And, I started to write.” (The writing is described in the previous blog post.)

The start of our connection was so natural—it’s hard for me to explain to others just how comfortable the connection feels. It’s like being with your mentor and closest confidante all the time. It’s like having all the answers and wanting to raise your hand every time a question is asked. But it’s also hard to explain to others, and harder yet when they dismiss or covet my closeness to Spiritual Presence.

The connection grows, and it is not meant for me to keep to myself. The connection is a gift to us all—not just for me—and my role is not to be envied. I have become the voice of Spiritual Presence in this time and the words are from beyond.

Each book that I write and each blog post that I share contains the words of divinity. When you read them, forget that I appear as the author and remember the connection of human with Spirit.

My Path to Energy Guidance Complete

My path to Energy Guidance Complete started way before the connection materialized. Hints of the connection didn’t reveal to me the depth of the connection to come.

Sensing my future started in my teens, but my focus was too scattered by teenage concerns. Building the years in-between the first inkling of connection and the actual connection was based on family and societal expectations, and not on my own needs and true calling.

The summer of 2012! I was ready for the connection without realizing what the connection would bring. I was using the connection to achieve personal balance when the push came to increase the connection.

At the time, I was following my desire to forego the lifestyle that was not true to me and was focusing my energy on work that brought physical healing to others. (The work is described in the blog post “Body Care” and is called Libra Method, which is a treatment for balancing the vertebrae to relieve pain in the spine and muscles.)

The push and subsequent awareness are described in the book Exploring Energy Guidance Complete, My Journey:

“The writing began one day when I suffered from knee pain and turned to Libra Method for help. I used self-testing to determine that I could heal the pain using a body meridian, which is a technique from Applied Kinesiology that uses Chinese medicine. Self-testing revealed that using the pathway of a meridian could help me, but none of the usual meridians could help. Perplexed, I asked the question ‘Is there a meridian that I don’t know?’ and received an affirmative response. I asked ‘Is there someone who can teach me about this meridian?’ and learned that nobody in Israel, nor anywhere else, could teach me. Hesitatingly, I asked the question ‘Am I going to learn about a meridian that no one else knows?’ and the answer was affirmative. I read about meridian attributes and used self-testing to write, word by word, about this new meridian.” (Self-testing is explained on the “About”  page and the meridian is described in the blog post “The Spiritual Connection Meridian”.) …

“While writing about the meridian, I began to receive information about another healing technique. I wrote about the second healing technique, and again, while writing about it, I began to receive information about a third healing technique. After this pattern occurred several more times, I started using the techniques in my Libra practice. The results were good, and I publicized my work at a networking group.  I continued to write the information I received and it became a seventeen-technique system called “The Body Wholeness System” for healing the body and spirit.

Towards the end of writing The Body Wholeness System handbook, I began to receive information about another set of healing techniques. Soon after completing the first handbook, I started on the second. These healing techniques connect—connect a person to body, emotions, environment, and to other people. They also connect to spirit. These techniques are part of Energy Guidance Complete, and they have physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual impact.

Work with Libra Method became less focused on just physical healing of pain and more on emotional factors and other influences. With Libra Method I could heal back, neck, and joint pain, but mostly if the cause of the pain was physical. For pain that had other factors, I brought in Energy Guidance Complete. Spiritual nudging led me to collect various knickknacks and items in my clinic, and I used them more and more in my work to help with wider health issues. People I helped began to tell others, and I gained confidence to talk about Energy Guidance Complete.

Awareness of a new direction nudged me, and I began to write additional information I received. This information started as separate essays. After writing several essays, I understood that something larger was being written. These wisdom essays became the first volume in the “Existence-Me Elevated Living” book series. I understood that I would be writing a series of seven books.

The first one was especially exciting to write, for I was amazed at each word that materialized from my questioning. I learned to ask questions in a focused manner, and the words began to flow onto the computer. The Gift of Intuitive, Dedicated Comfort was captivating for me—captivating to write and captivating to read. Writing each book has been an amazing, humbling, and enriching experience.”…

“Once I knew that I would be writing book after book, I understood that my purpose is to spread guidance and information. The healing sessions are important, but the main work is to reach many more people through the writing. I have access to Spiritual Presence and I am to enable people to have a glimpse into spiritual wisdom.”

Releasing the Undeserved Sense of Superiority

Yesterday’s post, Undeserved Superiority, yells at us to acknowledge our feelings of superiority over others and to then stop! Stop thinking we’re better than someone else because of our social standing or our religion or our race (among other things that make us feel superior).

I stopped and looked at my own upbringing and my own undeserved sense of superiority over some others and I was shocked at myself. My sense of better-than-some-others needs my acknowledgment and my work to release it. I know it won’t be easy, but I realize my thinking makes me an unempathetic person and I want to change. This look at myself reminds me of an experience I had three years ago when I was visiting in Los Angeles. I share that blog post now as a reminder to myself and to others about how our upbringing can lift or lower us, but that we are all similar. Here is the post from March 27, 2014:

Life is struggle: meeting with people unknown

  • Unwanted, unacknowledged, untended, underfed, unappreciated, unloved, unnoticed, undervalued, undone. The life of the drunk man who sneaked on the bus today and sat by me.
  • Wanted, acknowledged, tended, fed, appreciated, loved, noticed, valued, empowered. My life.

I was riding on an L.A. Metro bus waiting for my soon-to-arrive stop, when the bus stopped to let people off and he sneaked in from the back door and sat next to me. His breath reeked of alcohol, he was dirty, and he was hoping to avoid the notice of the bus driver. He was hopeful that I would not make a fuss, because his day had been one more difficult day in the accumulating number of difficult days that are his life. He didn’t really choose me; I was simply sitting in a convenient place for him to slide in.

I told him that I was about to get off so he shouldn’t sit there, but he ignored me. He spoke somewhat incoherently and I didn’t understand what he said. I told him he hadn’t paid and he started to panic and began talking about how he lives in the Hollywood Hills and is very rich, and the alcohol smell was strong. I felt very uncomfortable and decided to change the subject because he seemed agitated and was moving closer. I talked about the unseasonable rain in L.A. that morning and he was distracted. He realized I wasn’t going to say anything to the bus driver so he became chatty. But then he asked me my name, gave me his, tried to take my hand, really reeked of alcohol.

I was unsure what to do but then we reached my stop, and I told him to press the button for me because we had arrived at my stop. He moved and I pressed the button and asked him to let me out. I was unsure—afraid he might get off and follow me, unsure whether to just go out the back door or go to the front and notify the bus driver, unprepared for this situation. He turned slightly in his seat barely giving me room to get by. I grabbed my things close, forgot my scarf, and exited the bus from the back. He didn’t follow. I felt relieved, noticed my forgotten scarf, walked the wrong way and then corrected my direction.

And what about him? He felt gratitude towards me that I had remained silent, sat quietly for the rest of the trip, got off at his stop to continue his usual existence.

The message from Spirit: Two hearts beating a little too fast. Two lives being lived—one with acceptance, the other with rejection. Both equal.

Spirit is sharing wisdom about  feelings of superiority:

Guidance along the Journey

Journey sign

“The journey through life is a series of starts and stops, U-turns and wrong turns, ups and downs, unobstructed paths and no entry areas, straight and obvious routes and winding and precarious backstreets, unpredictable events and constant rhythms. The journey through life is perceived as difficult, or difficult and interesting, or difficult and unfair, or difficult and deserved, or difficult and surmountable, or difficult and this-or-that. The journey through life is varied in length; a short life is mourned and a long life is accepted. The journey through life is similar for all in that it starts with a breath and ends with a gasp (except in cases of sudden unnatural death).”
…from Oneself—Living

We all enter life with stumbling blocks in front of us. Some stumbling blocks are more difficult to pass and some stop us completely. The journey is meant to be trial-and-tribulation full, not smooth-sailing-the-whole-way. The idea that life is supposed to be easy is a marketing ploy that cripples and weakens us. Life is not a laundry detergent commercial with all the stains coming out, clean as new. Life is complex! Yes it is, and the more we prepare for complexity, the more we can exalt in the journey.

Here is guidance for the journey:

  • Learn to breathe properly and variedly. Knowing how to breathe through the changes in life will help you stay focused and well.
  • Develop your senses. Use your eyes to study the world. Use your nose to create memories. Use your ears to connect with animals and plants. Use your mouth to nourish your body. Use your hands to create. Use your bodily awareness to connect with other people.
  • Know yourself. Know the things that draw you to them and the things that repel. Know your temperament and accept it. Know your abilities and your drive. The more you know yourself, and live accordingly, the more you can live truthfully.

“Each step towards balanced living has repercussions for future satisfaction with one’s life. Deliberate work towards wellness, physical and mental, paves the way for life that is enriching. Deliberately choosing activities that better oneself, one’s community, and the surrounding environment rather than choosing activities that distract, paves the way for a life that is rewarding.”

Leaves--Journey

In The Gift for Intuitive, Dedicated Comfort, the journey of life is explored.

“The path one chooses is actually many paths; each path leading into a wider and longer path. The ability to try is the key to creating a valuable life. Valuable here means creatively challenged, joyful, balanced in terms of self vs. community, and accepting of the vagrancies of nature and life events. So many tributaries feed into the river that forms and sculpts our lives. Each chance meeting; each struggle to learn something new, to hone existing skills, to push beyond; each encounter with nature; each encounter with nature’s creatures; each exchange—verbal, physical, or with divine understanding; each decision, non-decision, decision result. All these parts combine, repel, stack, and group to shape, mold, and create the people that we are.”

“…each encounter with nature, each encounter with nature’s creatures…”  Many of us tend to trivialize the importance of our encounters with the environment and with other living creatures.  “The connection to flora and fauna significantly 1) broadens and heightens understanding of cycles and fluctuations; 2) develops appreciative and inquisitive capabilities; and 3) causes people to examine and work with vegetation that aid human life and animals that enhance human existence.” from Oneself-Living.

The photo above is my attempt at nature art. As the wind blew my collected leaves around, I thought about the need to relax expectations (I had collected 1000 leaves). The leaves were interesting to work with: varying colors, sizes, and shapes; easy to work with until the wind whipped them up; and versatile in their ability to form lines, corners, and curves.

The more we encounter nature, the more we understand ourselves.

Intersections: Choosing to Turn

Intersections

Intersect, v. 1. to divide by passing across. 2. to assist by providing choices.

Intersections present themselves to us as we walk the path of life. The going straight is never really straight and the intersecting criss-crossings present themselves as crises or connections, suggestions from strangers or friends, and hunches or self-confirmations of soulful longings.

Each intersection provides an opportunity to choose actions, thoughts, and impact. The intersection can be minor, like deciding how to while away an hour (with a friend or alone, with a book or an interesting challenge, with a smile or with a complaint).  The intersection can be life-altering, like deciding on a life path (pursuing a dream, an expectation, or an empty time-filler).  Intersections are deceptively straight, and the turn down one of their paths can be twisted and enthralling or twisted and monotonous.

The more we know the aspects of dislikable activities and information that repel us, the more we can pursue activities and information that pull us. We can’t follow every path and we can’t take each turn that presents itself. When we know ourselves—the things we like, the things we don’t like, our speed at absorbing information and performing activities, and our convictions and reactivity—we can choose the turns with confidence and with enthusiasm.

Energy Guidance Complete on the move

Renee by olive tree

“Reaching potential happens every day a person interacts with others and with the environment (with plants, animals, and other natural inhabitants of the world) in a constructive and uplifting manner. Each day brings an opportunity to move up or down, to build or waste, and to affect or be affected. Each day is another step on the journey.”  from the chapter “The Journey” in “The Gift of Intuitive, Dedicated Comfort”.

I am happy to report that “interacting with others” is being extended when I return to the US to bring Energy Guidance Complete to more people. Meeting with people and helping them achieve balance is rewarding and is a mission I have been given. Talking about Energy Guidance Complete and sharing the wisdom of soulful living is reaching my potential.

“Soul choices require conviction and strength! Soul choices require willingness to risk and willingness to falter! Soul choices require heart and blood! Soul choices require taking a stand and doing what needs to be done—when it needs to be done and without complaint! Soul choices are not always easy to make, but they are the choices worth making.”  from “Exploring Energy Guidance Complete, My Journey”.

Really listening to one’s inner voice is not taught, and so people have to learn their own way. Energy Guidance Complete sessions help build the path.

I start in Los Angeles, which will be my base. I worked there last March, and was soulfully lifted being there. In LA, I wrote the book about the soul. I am excited to see what topics will flow through my fingers this time.

Conviction and strength and willingness to give Energy Guidance Complete to others. These purposeful supports are guiding my work!

Concrete Living

Concrete Living

From the chapter “Concrete Living” in Oneself—Living:

“The sky is ever changing. The weeds are ever growing. The sand is ever shifting. The bugs are ever multiplying. Natural elements always change, grow (from beginning to end), shift, and/or multiply. The natural order is just so.

People too are ever changing, growing, shifting, and multiplying. The natural order is just so. The body changes, takes in, lets out, grows up, withers away, builds, processes, and moves.

Life is not concrete; life is fluid. The flow may be slow, but stagnated it is not. Life jerks, life cruises and glides, life putt-putts, life sails, and life decelerates. Movement is always linear, from start to finish. Linear in development, multifaceted in development possibilities. The body is born, lives, and dies. The living is huge…or can be…or should be….

… Planning: making plans, long-term or not, short-term or notconcrete living.

Spontaneous actions: last-minute get-togethers or get-goingsconcrete living.

Laughing, smiling, wide-eyed appreciation, willingness to errconcrete living.

Concrete living: living with gusto and with verve, with awareness of an ending and with awareness of possibility, with thankfulness and with generosity.”

Traveling on airplanes—tips and explanations

Post 114 airplane travel

In my last post “Airplane interactions”, imbalance problems caused by airplane travel are presented. In today’s post, I am presenting tips for lessening the damage and issues to think about. Some of the tips should be familiar to you if you have previously researched this topic.

Preparations before a flight

Food

  • If you eat fried foods as part of your regular diet, be sure not to eat anything fried for the two days preceding the flight and don’t eat fried food on the day of the flight.
  • If you eat sugared foods at most of your meals and in your snacks (foods containing sugar or foods that you add sugar to) and you will be traveling for more than five hours (travel to the airport + processing and wait at the airport + flight + and travel to destination), on the day of your flight eat half the amount of sugared foods.
If you eat sugared foods about twice a day and you will be traveling for more than nine hours, start limiting your sugar intake to once a day for two days before the flight. On the day of the flight, try not to eat any sugared foods.
  • If you eat well—balanced meals and controlled portions, but you sometimes binge or eat large portions of fried or sugared foods, take nutritious foods with you on the plane to help you resist snacking on the fare provided by the airline.

Hydration

  • If you drink more than two cups of coffee daily and you will be traveling for more than seven hours, start limiting your coffee intake to one cup a day for four days before the flight. If your flight departs early in the morning, wait to drink your cup of coffee on the plane. If your flight departs in the afternoon, drink your cup of coffee at the normal time you drink the first cup. If your flight departs at night, drink your cup of coffee 1 ½ hours before landing. The next day you can resume your regular coffee drinking habit unless you will be flying again within three days, in which case, you should limit to one cup of coffee a day until your next flight.
  • Drink water, and no other drinks, for 12 hours before the flight. This tip applies even to short flights. If you regularly drink coffee or caffeinated tea, limit them to one cup during the 12 hours before the flight.
  • Avoid carbonated beverages for 24 hours before your flight.

Information intake

  • Because of stress that usually accompanies flying, try to avoid reading or watching disturbing information for at least 24 hours before your flight.
  • Even if you have work to do on the flight, bring light reading or entertainment that you can turn to if you feel too stressed during the flight.

Preparations optional

These tips lead to well-being when flying.

  • The following supplements can be helpful if you already take them: Vitamin C, elderberry, and zinc. A small dose of these supplements six hours before a flight can boost your immune system.
  • Exercise before a flight is helpful as long as the exercise is not overdone.

Well-being on the flight

  • If your flight is longer than ½ hour and less than three hours, stand up and move a bit once every ½ hour.
  • If your flight is longer than three hours, your need for movement is much greater; however, if you sleep during the flight, then your need for movement is reduced. Aim to walk and stretch for several minutes between sleeps, movies, meals, etc. The more walking and stretching, the better.
  • Talk to the person sitting next to you, even if you have work to do. The connection on a plane is important for well-being.
  • Airplane food can be nutritious if you eat the nutritious offerings. Try to avoid the processed foods. Bring nutritious snacks with you.
  • If you drink only water on the flight, your body will be very appreciative. Avoid the carbonated beverages and sweetened juices. Limit alcoholic beverages to one.
  • Smile at the flight attendants and feel compassion for them. Their work is harder than it seems.

Layovers in airports

  • If your layover is longer than two hours, make sure to walk around to loosen your muscles and stretch your spine.
  • Avoid eating fried and sugared foods.

After the flight

  • Immediately after the flight, drink a cup of water.
  • Wait a day before resuming eating the foods discussed above, unless you have another flight within three days, in which case, wait until the day after the second flight.
  • Walk for at least 15 minutes to release tension in your body.

Airplane interactions

Post 114-aiplane window

I just spent 14 hours on a plane. Plenty of time for reflection on airplane interactions.

The environment on an enclosed and unnatural airplane is interesting. It is exclusionary because it excludes those who cannot afford the entry price. It is dictatorial because all who enter know they must follow the rules set by the airline and the various ruling bodies that set guidelines for airplane behavior. It is grueling for the attendants because of the fragile state of many of the passengers.

Stress

Airplane travel is stressful. Stressful for all who cross the passenger entryway.

Parents of young children are stressed because they worry that the other passengers will be annoyed by their children, they worry about the state of their children during the flight, they worry about what awaits them on the other side of the flight (visit to relatives, return to home, move to new destination, etc.), and they worry about regular worries (finances, health, etc.).

Business travelers are stressed because of deadlines, expectations from the employer and from family members (if they live with family) or other close people, worry, tiredness, and so on.

Vacationers are stressed from the preparations before, anticipation of what’s to come, and other personal concerns.

People with major health concerns (real and imaginary) are stressed from thoughts of what could happen to them during the flight.

People who fear flying are stressed on top of normal stress.

Lack of movement

“People are meant to move—at all ages, no matter the occupation, no matter the location. Restricting movement is a mistake.” … from Pond a Connected Existence.

If a flight is longer than 30 minutes, then people are not moving enough. The longer the flight, the more the suffering from lack of movement.

Sleep confusion

The body requires a certain amount of sleep, and airplane travel can significantly disturb this requirement. If time zones are crossed, the body doesn’t know how to process the time differences. Flights that depart during sleeping hours confuse the body and guarantee irregular sleep.

Choices presented

Traveling on an airplane presents many choices that can cause imbalance. Sitting by a person who is unlike oneself can be unsettling. Eating food that is not usually consumed can cause digestive issues. Sitting still when the body calls to walk around is a mistaken choice (except when the fasten seatbelt sign is on).  Going onto the plane with negative emotions can lead to disruptive behavior during the flight, digestive upset, and unbecoming behavior towards other passengers. Rudeness towards other passengers is a choice that can lead to discomfort physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Electronic device undutifully influencing

Before electronic devices were so proliferated, passengers had more interaction with one another. Parents were forced to provide entertainment to their children (with help from some airlines). Passengers were forced to take breaks from work, notice others, and think. The electronic devices add some positive aspects, but they mostly distract from connection to others.

The connections that are created on flights may seem irrelevant, but they are not. Short encounters are often enriching and intellectually stimulating in ways that electronically delivered information is not. Yes Wikipedia is intellectually filling, but it is not enriching in the way that connecting with a plane-ride companion is. Being forced to encounter others of different backgrounds and experiences in a shared environment of stress, imbalanced choice possibilities, and regulations develops people in ways that are enlarging and without possibility in normal living.

How to remain balanced when flying

Tips for maintaining balance, even when the flight was started from a state of imbalance, will be presented in the next blog post.

Third book published!

Cover-Oneself-Living

My third book, Oneself-Living, is published on amazon.com! With its publication, the trilogy of wisdom essays is complete. In honor of wisdom presented in the book, here are a few quotes:

From the chapter “Journey Markings”:

“…Journey markings [events that occur in each person’s life that leave indelible and consequential memories], chance encounters, input that influences, selected employment, and choices contribute to individual development. Journey markings are not the most influential force, but they do veer direction. Each person reacts to a journey marking in a specific-to-me manner, and this reaction is what causes the force of the remembered event to be an influence.”

From the chapter “Concrete Living”:

“…Planning: making plans, long-term or not, short-term or not–>concrete living.

Spontaneous actions: last-minute get-togethers or get-goings–>concrete living.

Laughing, smiling, wide-eyed appreciation, willingness to err–>concrete living.

Concrete living: living with gusto and with verve, with awareness of an ending and with awareness of possibility, with thankfulness and with generosity.”

From the chapter  “Picture Crooked”:

“…Picture crookedness is life in reality. Crooked smiles, crooked teeth, crooked noses, on and on. No need for photoshopping. Real life—in its imperfection and individuality. Life lived in truth, not in denial. Life lived in gulps, not in narrow sips. Life experienced widely, largely, encompassingly!”

From the chapter “1LOVE2TRUE-LOVE6LOVE”:

“…People can create loving relationships when they are motivated. A relationship that is mutually fulfilling results in the possibility of love, mult-petaled love. A relationship that is mutually invested results in love, multi-petaled love. Fulfillment and investment are required in a loving relationship. Love is a wanted, nourishing feeling that builds when the relationship reflectors create a positive, sustaining connection. “in”, not observing from afar; “available”, not holding back; loving, loved,…”

At the top of the stairs is Spiritual connection

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Yesterday’s blog was about Spiritual connection. Not sure if that was clear. It was not clear to me until I asked—so I guess I cheated :-). It’s nice to be connected to the Teacher.

From Pond a Connected Existence:

“In The Gift of Intuitive, Dedicated Comfort, steps are provided for connecting with spiritual presence. They are as follows:

‘…observing nature, the actions of babies, the movement of the seasons, the shenanigans of animals, the idiosyncrasies of the opposite sex, and the idiosyncrasies of one’s own sex’.

The passive observation of others and of nature cause analysis, cause consideration of seemingly incongruent and inconsequential subjects, and cause rumination on creation, on the wonder of life, and on how incredible the world’s creatures can be.

Spiritual presence exists in all aspects of nature….”

The list above is the way for people who are doubting to get connected. Doubting is in vogue in our generation, but it is not how people were in the past. When people were more connected to nature, they were simply more spiritual.

If you want to connect and feel you aren’t, start now. To quote again from Pond a Connected Existence:

“Each person has a connection. The awareness of this connection is influenced by societal beliefs and by individual faith and sense of relating to natural elements of life. The awareness is felt in many ways: intuition, gut feelings, sense of security or buttress or admonishment, hearing a voice or a whisper or a sense of a voice, vibrations throughout the body, flashes of knowing or of understanding, through slenderpointed dreams, constant feeling of clear direction, flash of inspiration or clarity, signals of peace, or awareness of future priorities caused by glimpses of Next.”

Wishing you an easier climb up the stairs.

Starting at the bottom of the stairs

Post 88-stairs

Each of us starts out at the bottom of the stairs. It may seem that some people get to skip a few stairs, but that’s an illusion. We all start at the bottom stair and somehow move in a more-or-less upward direction. The movements are quicker for some than others, and some people stop in the middle.

What is at the top of the stairs? Understanding. Satisfaction. Connection. Order. Arrival.

Striving Revisited

For some reason, I am compelled to repost the Striving post. Someone out there has missed it on my blog and needs to read it. So if you think it might be you, read carefully.

  • Striving to improve
  • Striving to move
  • Striving to win
  • Striving to begin

So many things to strive for. People tend to strive for things that are either just out of their reach or for things that come too easily.

When a goal is reached with little effort, it may have been a goal that should have been expanded. Striving is important. It keeps people interested, working, and committed. Striving usually involves physical, emotional and intellectual efforts, and sometimes spiritual effort as well. Too easy can dull the capacity to reason and opine.

Striving for just beyond is generally the better effort. Working towards, moving, struggling. These actions build character and personality. And sometimes strength and resilience.

When a goal is reached, it should be recognized and appreciated. It should not be ignored nor made light of. On the other hand, it should not become one’s existence. As it says in Book #2:

“The moment—it’s here and then it’s gone.  However uplifting and fortifying memories may be, they are in the past and can be used in support of future efforts, but must not be one’s current existence. In other words, future actions should be based on current evaluation of the moment, giving minor notice to past achievements but remembering to continue to grow.”

What’s new in this repost: When a person strives for health, but his or her ability to heal is hampered by emotional or spiritual deficits, physical remedies will only help some of the time. To heal fully, the emotional or spiritual causes must be healed. Energy Guidance Complete is a way to understand the underlying causes. There are other methods as well, however be wary of healers who focus on negativity.

Striving for “close to”

Post 29-pen drawing

When we strive to achieve a goal, we often set the aim too high >> to perfection. Mistaken selection.

Perfection and perfect delivery are beyond human ability. A tree is perfect; a horse is perfect; a human baby is perfect; even a person with severe disabilities is perfect in his or her compensation. Human accomplishments cannot be perfect. Therefore, we should strive for “close to”.

“Close to is close enough. Close to is better than 100%. Close to is the goal.
When we reach close to, we must be grateful and we must let go of unrealistic expectations. We must reach our goal (of close to) and then move on to our next goal. Creating a home life that is mostly satisfying is worthy of gratitude. Finding a partner who generally fills expectations is worthy of investment. Finding friends who usually are dependable are worth keeping. Living up to one’s expectations of oneself, more or less, is worthy of acceptance and satisfaction.”
–from “Certainty Relatively” in The Gift of Intuitive, Dedicated Comfort.

Gratitude and acceptance provide the means to a balanced and elevated life.

Go!

Achievements and experiences

Post 28 Personal endeavors

My last two posts have been about striving. Now let’s look at why people strive to accomplish pursuits that are difficult for them.

“People pursue difficult and challenging activities for many reasons: as a way to achieve recognition, as a way to escape unwanted experiences, as a way to experience the suspension of time, to force oneself to aid societal mores, and sometimes, because of pressure.” –from “Personal Endeavors” in The Gift of Intuitive, Dedicated Comfort.

Sometimes, challenges lead to accomplishment and sometimes, to mediocrity. How a person sees a challenge depends on upbringing, timing, and sense of purpose. Each of these factors contributes to attitude and approach.

Time invested in challenging endeavors is time spent. Possibly spent wisely, possibly not. Some challenges are not worth the investment. Knowing when to invest and when to look elsewhere determine how an achievement is selected. Achievements for the sake of achieving do not lead to purposeful living unless an unknown reason has led to the desire for pursuing the particular goal. The more one is aware of one’s motivation, the greater the likelihood of achievements that lead to elevated and purposeful living.

Striving, and striving more

Post 27-striving

Yesterday I wrote about the importance of striving for goals. Today I was proofing the text of The Gift of Intuitive, Dedicated Comfort for the printed version, and I read the following text:

“Striving is a natural human condition. To strive gives purpose; to strive gives focus. Striving for elevated purposes increases the value one places on oneself. It gives heightened purpose and heightened focus. The definition of an elevated purpose is a purpose that betters the natural world and at the same time betters the creatures (human and not) who inhabit the area being affected.”

Purpose in life is the force that enables overcoming obstacles and other difficulties. Finding purpose is a must for experiencing satisfaction in one’s comings and goings. Purpose brings ACTION!

Post 26 Renee-MisgavBrochure

Here I am four years ago, starting out on my journey as a Libra Method therapist and striving to develop my clinic for helping people with back trouble. Trying this way and that to gain recognition for the healing work I was doing. The path has been both rewarding and disheartening. A goal just beyond reach.

Today I am once again at a point of goal just beyond, writing and working with Energy Guidance Complete. Exhilarating work that is incredibly rewarding but frustrating as I strive to make it known. Patiently—no, actually chomping at the bit—working to bring it all to light.
