Experiencing Nature’s Outline

Gift of nature

“Living with compassion and with understanding lends color to life, adds substance and texture to being…‘Helping those who need help!’…Compassionately approaching, the preferred approach, relieves tension, balances health…‘Spending time with loved ones! Playing with babies! Teaching children in the customs and traditions of one’s forebears!’…pitching in, helping out, lifting up…‘Watching animals! Caring for pets! Preventing abuse of animals! ‘” – from “Oneself-Living” and “Pond a Connected Existence”

The outline of nature is the framework for connected living. The outline of nature has headings and symmetry and subdivisions. Rules and extensions bound the experience of living within the outline. Definitions and relationships fit within Nature’s outline, deviating when dramatic conferral occurs. The entirety of creatures with vegetation is a cyclical, rhythmic composition.

Connected living requires seeing the participation of all the parts. Living within the seasons and within the boundaries of the lightness and the darkness bring the body into alignment with melodious cycling of life and death. Recognizing that part of all is me brings overwhelming satisfaction and calm.

There are magical moments that occur when Nature’s outline is recognized and received!

Sometimes the Least Boisterous Person is the True Star—The Dos & Dont’s of Notice

Attention

(taken from my article of the same title on HealingAnswers.com and reposted from 5-27-14)

In a gathering, there usually are the people who stand out. They generate more buzz, they attract attention. There are the people who mill around the buzz-makers and there are the people who make the buzz in the background.

The background buzz-makers are the real ones to follow, but they often don’t make the fuss that generates the action. These people do acts of kindness, make others comfortable, fulfill the role of support provider, and consider the needs of society. These people understand that they are obligated: obligated to care for their families and their community and obligated to remember the needs of the environment and of the creatures that inhabit the Earth.

There are stand-out individuals who not only generate buzz in the limelight, but also fulfill their obligations in much-larger-than-self ways. They, and the less visible obligation-fulfillers, receive notice in the spiritual realm where one’s actions really matter.

This blog post provides the Dos and Dont’s of getting noticed for behavior deserving of notice.

DO:  Fill your time with sustaining activities

Here are a few examples of sustaining activities from Pond a Connected Existence:

Spending time with loved ones! Playing with babies! Teaching children in the customs and traditions of one’s forebears! Singing! Dancing! Singing well! Singing flat! Artistic expression! Preparing healthful meals! Picnics!  Family gatherings! Gatherings of friends! Gatherings of people for life events—sad ones and happy ones!… Working with gusto! Working with integrity! Working in unison and working alone! Group activities that have a higher purpose! Group activities that bring enjoyment! Walking! Running! Jumping! Riding a bike! Riding a wave! Swimming! Moving for fun and moving for health! …

DO: Take care of the environment

Taking care of the environment includes planting plants, trees, and flowers. It also includes not littering and not being wasteful with the Earth’s resources.

DO: Take part in activities that bring betterment to the community and to the less fortunate

No matter how busy you think you are, you are not too busy to help out with a volunteer organization in your area (unless you are attending to a terminally ill family member which is consuming all of your time).

DO: Smile, even when smiling feels forced

A smile lifts the spirits of those who see the smile and the one who wears the smile. As an experiment, sing a song while not smiling and then sing the song again while smiling. Smiling simply changes one’s mood and one’s influence on others.

DON’T: Smile at a person if you are thinking bad thoughts about them

A fake smile cannot necessarily be detected by others, but it is recorded in the spiritual realm. Pretending to be happy when someone makes you unhappy is the incorrect approach. If someone really affects you in a negative way, either try to limit exposure to this person or try to change the dynamic.

DON’T: Fill your time with non-sustaining activities

Non-sustaining activities include small things like watching too much TV, playing too many computer games, eating junk food, complaining about inconveniences. Larger non-sustaining activities include things like participating in aggressive behavior towards other people, other creatures, or the environment; eating too much food; focusing on the lives of people who have no true relevance in one’s life (for instance, following the movements of a celebrity or keeping tabs on old love interests); pretending to like one’s job or partner or pastimes or this or that, when one is unhappy… – “Pond a Connected Existence”.

DON’T: Say no when asked to help just because you want more free time

Obligation to one’s community is much larger than many people think. Taking part in elections, taking part in cleaning up, taking part in communal rituals—these are the basic obligations on all. Beyond those acts, one should participate in bettering the community.  – “Pond a Connected Existence”

Saying no when help is needed does not earn notice where it matters. If you are feeling too tired, rather than lessening your sustaining activities, examine your less sustaining activities and consider lessening them.

DON’T: Be wasteful

Appreciate what you have. Don’t be greedy with your desires. In general, people want more than they need so try to be reasonable in your usage of resources that are not easily replenishable.

Conclusion

The notice being discussed here is not notice by the people seeking excitement. It is notice in the spiritual realm that considers the actions of people and provides spiritual connection or not.

The more a person strives to bring balance to himself or herself and to the family, community, and neighboring environment, the more possibility of spiritual connection and guidance. Balance within and with all lead to life lived purposefully and with spiritual connection.

Dis tr a c ting

Distracting colors

I should be working on activities for my next workshop and I should be immersed in one of the several books I am writing, but instead I let myself get distracted by Facebook and news stories about politicians and topics that have little meaning in my life. I get distracted by unimportant errands and Sudoku. I even focus on dusting rather than on the writing that is SO much more important.

You would think that I, with the constant prodding by Spiritual Presence, would stay focused, but no, I rebel and waste time. Even though I know how precious the passing time is! I guess I don’t really understand the meaning of this poem from Unfolding:

The Flash

Flash!
Life is so quick—
Quickly over,
So quickly over.

Why don’t we notice?
Why don’t we realize?

Living fully
Is living life right!
Ready to attempt,
Ready to strive,
Ready to attempt again,
Ready to strive more.

Life is so quick—
Flash!

Almost all of my spiritually received books remind me about the need to stay focused, and yet I “focus” on the wispy fluff*.

“There are temptations aplenty that lure and distract us. Staying focused on elevating pursuits is difficult. Our natural inclination is often to choose the less demanding option over the more rewarding, but harder-to-achieve, goal. Continuous bombardment by advertising and entertainment cause us to choose unwisely. The lure of gaiety wins out over its sober cousin, responsible selection of pastimes. So many worthwhile endeavors are waiting to be embraced, but the lightness and instantaneous nature of distracting endeavors deter. Learning to choose wisely is an important sign of understanding the importance of balance.”

This quote is from the chapter “Distractions Along the Way” in The Gift of Intuitive, Dedicated Comfort.

Perhaps writing a blog post about this waste of precious time will help me stay focused. I hope that my confession helps some of you too.

From Connection:

ticking tocking
on and on
the clock ticks on
and ticks some more

*wispy fluff was first defined in Pond a Connected Existence. It is empty and valueless time wasters. It is unimportant and un-elevating.

Intersections: Choosing to Turn

Intersections

Intersect, v. 1. to divide by passing across. 2. to assist by providing choices.

Intersections present themselves to us as we walk the path of life. The going straight is never really straight and the intersecting criss-crossings present themselves as crises or connections, suggestions from strangers or friends, and hunches or self-confirmations of soulful longings.

Each intersection provides an opportunity to choose actions, thoughts, and impact. The intersection can be minor, like deciding how to while away an hour (with a friend or alone, with a book or an interesting challenge, with a smile or with a complaint).  The intersection can be life-altering, like deciding on a life path (pursuing a dream, an expectation, or an empty time-filler).  Intersections are deceptively straight, and the turn down one of their paths can be twisted and enthralling or twisted and monotonous.

The more we know the aspects of dislikable activities and information that repel us, the more we can pursue activities and information that pull us. We can’t follow every path and we can’t take each turn that presents itself. When we know ourselves—the things we like, the things we don’t like, our speed at absorbing information and performing activities, and our convictions and reactivity—we can choose the turns with confidence and with enthusiasm.

The World Uprooted—Applause Confusion

Post 13-screen beans supportingIn a world where applause is for beauty and celebrity is for ball kicking, uprootedness is occurring.

Applause should be for those who care for the animals and for the vegetation and for the vulnerable. Applause with enthusiasm should be for the people who deliver babies or deliver sustenance from family farms or deliver animals from cruel existence or deliver protection of nature from fires and floods.

Applause for people who strut down runways is applause confused. Applause for people who run after dementia-afflicted people is applause correct.

Applause for professional ball kickers or ball throwers is applause undeserved. Applause for professional arborists working in difficult climates is applause deserved.

Celebrity worship and star fixation are turning the world upside down. The stars become unreal—and suffer because of that—and the fixated lose focus of true values.

Each person who gives more value to an undeserving individual because of sports prowess or body size is contributing to the upside-down existence. Each person can help right the world by focusing on those who bring betterment. Each person can help right the world by allotting time to endeavors that correct misguided infatuations.

Let the celebrities and the sports stars and the models move back, and let the real applause-deservers shine!

Spiritual illness and its positive aspects

spiritual illness

Spiritual illness seems like a serious state of being, but in actuality, it is a positive predicament. Spiritual illness signals the need to clarify for oneself beliefs and convictions. When spiritual illness is approached as a wake-up call, it can be the first step towards more focused living.

Spiritual illness can lead to study about religious beliefs, study about spiritual lifestyles, study about earlier civilizations, and study about meditative practices. All studies that lead to increased spiritual connection are positive—as long as the study does not lead to a sense of right or to a belief that one’s chosen way is better than others.

Understanding the cause of the spiritual illness is helpful, and the cause can help determine the “cure”. Allowing the spirit to be ill is not harmful as long as the illness does not lead to depression. Spiritual illness is a call for change that can be realistic and immediate. The move from unwell to very well can be relatively quick.

The main step towards cure is understanding the cause of the illness. After that, the road to recovery is simply a belief away!

How contagious is spiritual illness?

Bad backSpiritual illness is like a bad back. Once it has been misaligned, the possibility for it to happen again exists. The person who ensures that his or her once-bad back stays supple has the likelihood of not suffering in the debilitating manner in the future.

Illness of the spirit aches like the aching back—with spasms of deep pain and hints of deep pain about to happen. The spirit aches for alignment, yet improper care weakens and undermines the foundation of spiritual sustenance. Then when spiritual belief is challenged, the spirit gives way and illness sets in with spasms of deep pain and hints of deep pain about to happen. Spiritual care heals the aching spirit, and future work strengthens it.

Spiritual illness is contagious like the bad back. Watching someone suffer causes fear, which can weaken the foundation of balance. Or it can cause warning, which encourages some to strengthen the foundation of balance. For relatives of the sufferer, the spiritual illness can teach bad habits or inspire searching for support.

Spiritual illness is surmountable with desire to heal, desire to open, and desire to connect.

How spiritual illness is seasoned

Post 104-veggies.jpg

Think of spiritual illness as a sauce. A bit too much of one spice and the sauce becomes unpalatable. Too much of all the spices and the sauce becomes overtaken.

When spiritual illness is brewing, the balance of decisions and actions is important. Too many wasteful and waste-producing activities tip the balance towards illness. Activities that revive the sense of connection tip the balance towards fine.

Spiritual health, like the spices of a dish, is one component of health. The other components: physical health, emotional health, and intellectual health are the more obvious aspects of health, but without the spicing the meal stays unimaginative. The spicing causes the meal to ignite the appetite, interest the taste buds, and involve the memory. So too with spiritual health.

A sense of spiritual connection ignites the imagination. A sense of spiritual guidance interests the thoughts. A sense of spiritual longing passes from generation to generation. The seasoning of the life is rich and satisfying.

Spiritual illness can occur “when spiritual questioning causes imbalance that the body cannot fathom.”  (see https://energy-guidance-complete.com/2015/06/24/spiritual-illness-strikes/) Spiritual pondering is a normal part of spiritual health, but when pondering becomes denying or when viewpoint is viewed as supreme, spiritual illness takes hold. The spicing becomes cloying or too intense, and the struggle to continue is magnified.

Seasoning is done through trial and error and through following those who tried before. Seasoning can be the best aspects of a dish or the worst. Spiritual health can raise up the life and spiritual illness can sink the life. Finding balance is necessary for fulfilling and joyous living.

Place Worship

place

Places are called holy because of people decisions. The holy places become symbols for future generations and they assume greater or lesser importance depending upon stories. The stories and the legends that develop around holy places change the places from just places to symbols.

When the symbols become associated with national identity or with religious identification, they can be overly important. A place is a place. It might be beautiful from natural sources or from human artistry, but it is still just a place. No more holy than the places nearby.

Life as a page

Blank page

“A blank page. Each person’s life when just starting out is like a blank page. Some pages never get filled. Some pages get filled partially. Some pages are SO full of interactions, questions, adventures, accomplishments, failures, starts, stops, and attempts. Some pages are full of starts, stops and attempts, starts, stops and attempts, starts, stops and attempts. Some pages have tentative actions while others have decisiveness. Some pages contain laughter and joy. Some pages, only sadness and disappointment. Most pages have a bit of this and a bit of that, but they don’t have as much as they should of BALANCE, PURPOSE, and SUBSTANCE.”

From the Introduction to Oneself-Living

Life can be viewed in many ways. Seeing it as a blank page allows for creativity and possibility. Filling the page with color and poetry and formulas and shapes and adventure logs and so much more. Or filling it with lists of “can’ts” over and over. A blank page allows each person to make their life into a personal story that is captivating in its uniqueness.

A blank page is what we get at birth. A life that ends too quickly can still be filled with creativity and possibility if the person fills it so. A life that is long can be empty of creativity and possibility if the person fills it so. The filling of the page is important. The color comes from interaction with others and with Spirit. The poetry comes from moments of connection. The formulas come from learning and striving. The shapes come from self-awareness and self-expression. The adventure logs recount life travels, the good and bad, as life develops.

Filling the page with oneself makes the most sense. Not filling it with what others want, but with what you want. What you want…

Each person has a separate page. A separate blank page. It’s never too late to add color, poetry, formulas, and shapes.

Natural death

Post 27-striving

This blog post is from Exploring Energy Guidance Complete, My Journey.

“Natural death, through illness or disease, body mis-function, or aging, causes people to struggle with sadness, anger, relief, confusion.” The process of living and dying is considered in the chapter “Concrete Living” in Oneself—Living.

My mother died from metastasized cancer when she was 66 years old. She had cancer of the sinuses that metastasized to her lungs. She was 55 when the sinus cancer was diagnosed. She underwent radical surgery to remove the cancerous growth, which left her disfigured and disabled. Her life was dramatically changed, yet she still had life. Her slow decline was difficult for her and for our family.

When she died, we struggled with sadness, anger, and confusion. There was no relief. No matter how much she suffered, we wanted her with us. The letting-go was fought. We fought to make her stay and we fought to not let her go. Our efforts made her leaving harder for her, and she tried to hang on when she needed to let go.

The dying process is one in which the person who is dying is affected by those around.  Children, siblings, partner, parents, friends, and even acquaintances cause pull in the wave that is taking the life-leaving-person out to sea. Death is like the sea and each person like a small living object on the shore living life and fighting the draw of the waves. Shelters can be built and the inevitable can be ignored, but the process moves on naturally and ever distressingly. Life, like death, flows and ebbs, bringing new circumstances and similar challenges.

The dying process ends one life and begins the after-life processing of the soul. The after-life processing of the soul connects the people who were left with the one who left. Through openness, desire, and intuition, the soulful essence of the one who left can be felt. The dying creates a different reality that can be a continuation of the relationship at the soulful level. Knowing this information does not lessen the pain of losing a loved one, but it can make the moving on easier.

The world according to ATTITUDE

Attitude

ATTITUDE influences when opportunity presents possibilities or barriers.

Possibilities or barriers? These words reflect the attitude.  Possibilities are attitude contributing. Barriers are attitude constricting. Society does not always present possibilities to its residents; however, when actual barriers are not in the way, attitude can prevail.

ATTITUDE is subjective. One person lies in bed all day because of a sprained toe. Another person is out and about even when unable to move both legs because of paralysis. Others pity themselves because of difficult relationships. Someone else forges ahead with friendships after having outlived most friends and family. People strive or don’t strive when presented with the same situations. Subjective ATTITUDE.

ATTITUDE is the attribute that interprets and influences responses, behavior, and subsequent decisions and actions. It interprets the daily happenings and it creates the subsequent reality.

ATTITUDE truly is a choice.

To see the world with eyes of gratitude is to see the small and large contributions of nature’s creatures (including people). To experience the world with appreciative intention is to experience majesty. To move through the day with vibrant life force is to feel the full offering that living presents. The world according to ATTITUDE!

Important tests for health

Post 80-Attention

For optimal health, the following health maintainers should be monitored:

  1. Consumption of nutritious and satisfying foods. (Focusing on foods that are bereft of nutritional value or are lacking in the aspects that naturally gratify [for example, fat-free foods] undermine physical, emotional, and intellectual health.)
  2. Interactions with other people. (Too little interaction undermines emotional and spiritual health.)
  3. Participation in physical activities that bring joy and challenge. (Participation in physical activities that are not enjoyed undermines emotional and spiritual health.) Daily physical activity is necessary to keep the bones, muscles, and flows working properly.
  4. Rhythmic breathing that is varied and appropriate for the body’s activities.
  5. Sensitivity to environmental concerns. (Disregard for plant life, water sources, and conditions for animal rearing undermines the grounding of the world and damages physical and intellectual health.)
  6. Appreciation for life’s gifts.
  7. Attention to self-needs. (Ignoring one’s needs damages all the aspects of balanced health. This area does not mean self-centeredness. It means self-support.)
  8. Sufficient and satisfying sleep.

Each of these health maintainers is vital for well-being and balance. Focusing on a few of them is not enough.

“A good life is one in which a person knows that he or she has affected, uplifted, and connected.” from the book “Vitality!”.

Prevention of poor health–>Stop the causes!

Forty

The following list was presented in two earlier blog posts. I am presenting it again because it is really important. Please look at each contributor to poor health and consider it. Each one won’t apply to you, but it may apply to someone you love.

Notice that sleep deprivation is the second major contributor of poor health. This one is really not that hard to fix. Notice the third contributor. Letting the body heal itself when possible can lessen the grasp of this contributor. Notice number five. then get up and dance around or walk in place.

Each contributor can be lessened.

——–

In modern societies, there are 40 reasons that a person becomes deceased too early or suffers too much. Here are the reasons in the order in which they contribute (accidents and disasters are not included):

  1. Overconsumption of alcoholic beverages
  2.  Sleep deprivation
  3.  Misuse of legal drugs
  4.  Depression
  5.  Insufficient regular movement of the body
  6.  Overuse of cigarettes
  7.  Insufficient protection from the elements (cold, heat, etc.)
  8.  Chronic insufficient consumption of water
  9.  Overconsumption of food
  10.  Insufficient exposure to the environment (nature)
  11.  Worry, fear, and anguish
  12.  Suppression of negative emotions (worry, fear, and anguish)
  13.  Hurt feelings
  14.  Blood pressure pressures
  15.  Isolation
  16.  Genetics
  17.  Misjudgment of self-boundaries (When relating to other people, not understanding how to bond. When relating to tangible items, not understanding limits and excess.)
  18.  Insufficient intake of vitamin-rich foods
  19.  Memory loss
  20.  Insufficient intake of mineral-rich foods
  21.  Digestive disturbances
  22.  Elimination issues, such as constipation
  23.  Too much dependence on approval from others
  24.  Inadvertent consumption of foods that cause allergic reactions
  25.  Overexposure to toxins
  26.  Sense of unworthiness
  27.  Misuse of illegal drugs
  28.  Purposelessness
  29.  Sadness
  30.  Misjudgments in sexual relations
  31.  Lack of trust in one’s intuition
  32.  Chronic under-usage of the thinking capabilities
  33.  Overemphasis on physicality
  34.  Anger
  35.  Jealousy
  36.  Eating too little
  37.  Indifference
  38.  Overusing the body physically
  39.  Feelings of devaluing others
  40.  Choice inundation

You may have noticed that shallow breathing and other breathing issues are not on the list. Improper breathing results from many of these issues so that breathing, or rather, incorrect breathing, is often part of the causes.

The more a person strives to bring balance to himself or herself and to the family, community, and neighboring environment, the more possibility of spiritual connection and guidance. Balance within and with all lead to life lived purposefully and with spiritual connection.

Connections = living that is correct

Connections

By design, people are meant to connect. They are meant to connect with other people and with their own needs, with the seasons and with the environment, with the animals who roam the earth, and with spiritual energy. Yes, that means each of us. Each of us, you and I, are designed and programmed to connect. Connection is built-in. Part of the people blueprint.

Although the connections are very different, they intertwine and inform one another. People are meant to depend on one another. They are designed to work in groups: to build together, to create communities, to help one another in times of difficulty, to find common purpose, and to help those entering and exiting life. People are meant to learn from the world around and to contribute to its betterment.

The natural world has its rhythms and cycles, cycles of seasons and cycles of beginnings and endings. People are meant to fit into these rhythms and cycles, and to gain self-awareness through their observations. Observation of the animals adds to self-awareness and to appreciation of ourselves and of the amazement of life. Amazing too are the heights people can ascend when they allow their own self-abilities and personality to lead their lives. Opening to sharing in the wonder of the world with spiritual energy is opening to more vital and glorious living.

Each of us, you and I, are designed and programmed to connect and care and feel. Connecting to and feeling part of, caring for and feeling empathy, and feeling intertwined. The design is the design.

Change approach: Is 10:90 reality?

90 1- reality

“The feeling of life in one’s body is an extraordinary feeling. Noticing the feeling of being alive, of being awake, of being vital. Amazing! Yet we often take the amazingness for granted and don’t appreciate it. Too many of us focus on pain or discomfort or hurt feelings. Those things exist, but they are minor in comparison to the body’s vitality!

When the blues hit or the bones creak, they take the focus and move miraculous existence to second place. Keep in mind that emotional ebbs and physical challenges are just parts of living—but they are not the main elements. They steal attention from the important aspects of life, and we must be vigilant to not become immersed in the difficult and unhappy moments.” This reminder about the importance of perspective is from the “Introduction” in Vitality!.

10 : 90. This ratio is important to remember. It is the average of negative and positive things in a person’s life. 10% is the negative things; 90% is the positive things. The positive things are largely taken for granted and the negative things receive importance way beyond their significance.

10 : 90. Bah. That 10% feels heavy. How can it be so small? The little annoyances and the larger afflictions expand beyond their actual effects because they are deviations from the normal state and they are cacophonous communication from our bodies. When something is out of whack or when happenings occur that derail us, the noise they make catch our attention and require action. The 10% perpetuate. Because they bother or annoy or require attention, they grow—if not in actual size then in demand for attention. The 10% needs attention and resolution (when possible).

10 : 90. The 90% is the take-for-granted percentage. It includes these three things: sleeping and rising refreshed and ready for the next day (when sleep is not trivialized), regular functioning of the body, and ability to accomplish many goals. It includes these three things: having shelter from the elements, delight in possessions, and clothing for the body. And it includes home helpers (washing machine, refrigerator, lighting, entertainment suppliers [TV, stereo, computer, etc.], and many more), indoor plumbing, and food that is easily accessible and does not need to be foraged or hunted. Continuing on, there is photography and there is storage. The list grows and diversifies for each person, family, and community.

The 10 is small next to the 90  SMALL  Small   small. The 90 is deserving of thanks and attention.

Think 90 : 10 !

“…when moments are wasted or spent on destructive pursuits or focused on valueless fluff, balance and security are taken away.”  This quote pounds us with the truth about wasting time in the chapter “Moment” in Pond a Connected Existence.

I know this wisdom; I truly do, and yet I still choose valueless fluff when meaningful endeavors call to me. Wasteful time wasters abound, and I let them pull me down. Down into the abyss of valueless activity. Far into the place where time is irretrievable, where time is lost and cannot be replaced. Time gone, flittered away on meaningless wispy fluff.

The lure of smallness is greater than the push to impact. Having an impact on others, on society, on global conservation, on local causes, and on family issues, is people-ness. Impacting and not ignoring, impacting and not allowing laziness to win out. To live with narrow expectations might seem easier, but in reality it leaves people empty when the end comes. When the end comes, knowing that impact took place because of one’s positive efforts makes the exit less difficult.

Energy Guidance Complete illuminates the way, but the way has to be followed. Step by step, one change at a time, one better choice and then another. Following the guidance because it is wise and then following the soulfully felt guidance because it is intuitively wise. Energy Guidance Complete and soulful guidance: two ascents that flow from the same source.

The interwovenness of society

Community involvement

“… a community has various needs that are ever-changing and that differ in importance. The elderly need to be cared for, as do the teenagers. The animals require attention and so does the regional government. Trees and plants give shade and beauty, and they require upkeep and protection. The poor must be seen, and the recycling must be gathered. Each person in a community can participate in an endless number of community efforts, and the more each person does, the more the community radiates warmth and support.

Affect is the goal for each community member. Caring for self and caring for others. Acknowledging needs and addressing them. Connecting with people, relating to the environment, tending to animals. Developing oneself through the attention to community.”
